  2. lol. Nah, afraid I haven't. But, I'd sure like to get involved in some this year. I've got a shit ton of stuff to do to my car first to get it setup for such an event. I'm a long way from being ready.
  3. First thing you've gotta do is; make SURE there are no vettes in your class. Because if there is, you have NO chance at winning.
  4. fucking dummy....so why'd you take the whole motor apart for a cam?
  5. Yea, it's real. That's what made it so funny.

  7. lolololol!!! There it is. I've spent the last 20 min. searching RC for it and couldn't find it. Wow, I forgot how gay that was.
  8. It's floating around on RC from a few months back. I'll see if I can dig it up.

  11. I've always wondered that as well. HAD 1 BUR
  12. Still waiting on parts to arrive, and warm weather (Damn you, PTK). I refuse to work on it in this cold ass weather.
  13. So, I'm on a mission to find all the somewhat popular rock songs that I've heard on 99.7 and 107.1 (RIP) over the past 10 years or so. I'm talking some of the one hit wonders and such. The guys that had one damn good song, and then disappeared. I'm also looking for some of the stuff from the mainstream guys. Is there any music billboard chart or something that goes back that far? Side note: I saw someone had the band 'Submersed' listed in the current music thread. I'd forgotten completely about this band. 'Hollow' was the only song that I know of that ended up on the radio. This is the type of stuff I'm looking for.
  14. This post makes me sad.
  15. Not really. But I have allergies.
  16. True. The company I work for also rents Uhaul trucks, and I wouldn't rent from them for the life of me. They NEVER keep up on truck maintenence. Never. I'd go with anyone but Uhaul. Current prices are 29.95/17' truck/day (which for us is an 8hour rental) and then your mileage rate. .59/mile Monday - Thrusday. .89/mile Friday - Sun. 39.95/24-26' truck/day. Mileage is the same.
  17. Just looked it up. You're right. All these years I thought it lowered the boiling point, which is why the cooking standpoint didn't make much sense. Thanks for the clarification.
  18. Salt raises the boiling and lowers freezing point of water. As for the freezing point. The point of the salt is to force water to freeze at a much lower point. It will still freeze, you just have to lower it below the normal, 32*, freezing point. ...The more you know...... *Edit- Thanks to LJ for the corrected info.
  19. You're going to let them take a laser beam to your nads?
  20. No, not oxygen. I just wasn't sure if it was carbon monoxide. It very well could be, but I've been out of chemistry for too long to remember. Hydrocarbon + burning + oxygen = possibly carboon monoxide? I do know from using them at work all day long to heat our shop, that the propane heaters put out a LOT less fumes than a multifuel version of these sytle heaters and therefore, cause me less headaches. They do approve propane powered forklifts for indoor use for some reason.... Maybe I've been around these fume too long. lol.
