I've used Super Lube for years now. My dad turned me on to it as he used to use it all the time for industrial applications. It's still my Go-To. Shit is amazing. :fuckyeah:

Yes. I would consider it a decent 1911 to start out with. No frills, but I'm sure it won't let you down. My father owns one and has shot the crap out of it.

Blackwing is probably your best bet. Head there. Shoot some guns. Buy what you like.

Price has really come down on this stuff since I first looked into it a year or so ago. Went ahead and ordered the paste to try out.

I have not personally tried it, but I know a guy that has and he seems to like it well enough. I've got enough different kinds of gun lube around here to last 3 lifetimes. I looked into buying some of this stuff, but IIRC, it's pricey, so I didn't buy any.

I'd like to know how they constantly get themselves in a bind when those things are around. It's not like they move fast. They kill 3-4 of them and then are too worn out to fight off the rest and somehow always manage to get backed into a corner. What this man said. 1. Why do you need a railed gas block? 2. As mentioned above; make sure you leave enough barrel so you don't fuck up your dwell time. Relocating a gas block isn't very fun and neither is throwing a barrel into the trashcan because you cut it too short and now your gun won't cycle. 3. There's really no advantage to a free float rail on an SBR as you aren't going to be shooting any significant distance that you would notice any barrel torque. Get whatever you like best.
