Patterson won coach of the year, not sure if you guys saw that. That's the second time he's won it. Of course, I think the coach of the year awards are kind of dumb. They never really go to the best coach, they go to the coach who overachieved or was successful when we didn't think they would be.

I know you meant on name alone. Not sure you'd be right. There are several teams that have brand name appeal like Texas, and Ohio State is one of them. I don't see - all things being equal - Ohio State getting dumped for Texas just on name recognition. I think Ohio State's name brand helped land them that fourth spot.

I'd rather Ohio State put a QB high in the draft for three consecutive years as opposed to all in the same class - I think that would do even more for the perception of Ohio State.

Drove a 2013 M5 today. It was an automatic. I had more trouble learning how to operate it than I would a manual transmission. I am not making this up. I still don't know how to put the car into park.

Well, yeah, because they would have beaten either Baylor or TCU (or both), and top to bottom the B12 was better than the B10 (and certainly would have been perceived that way if Texas went 11-1 and Baylor and TCU did as well as they did). So, on merit alone, Texas likely would have warranted the fourth spot.

Thanks for this input. Yeah, I'm pretty much decided I'm going with a 550i. Do any of you guys know of any appreciable differences between the '13 and '14 models?
