  1. I have a used MRT maxflo 304 stainless steel cat-back with max thunder (again 304 SS) mufflers for sale that was on my 01 Bullitt. They sounded great on my car(similar to flomasters). Unfortunately, they would not fit with the MM heavy duty torque arm/3-link set up I put on the car. This does not include tips, only what is in the picture. $100 Pick up only, located in east Columbus. PM or email stachler.9 "at" osu.edu From Website... MRT's MaxFlow catback system is made from the same high quality 304 stainless steel as the MRT H-Pipe to bring you the highest rust and corrosion resistance system available in the market. The MRT 304SS catback comes with all stainless hardware, and MaxThunder mufflers. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c360/docstach/FScar009.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c360/docstach/FScar011.jpg Thanks, Matt

  5. I am going to try to hit as many events as I can in April and May (and Mid Ohio at least once), because I will be moving in late June and may very well have to sell my car I have spent all of this time and money getting it sorted, I might as well enjoy it...
  6. I would certainly try to make it if it happens before I move in late June.
  7. Not a doctor yet (well not an MD, have PhD), but will be graduating medical school in a few months. As stated before lots of things cause fatigue, but if what you stated above is true that could be a significant contributing factor. While I can not recommend a specific doctor, I would suggest finding a board certified Internal Medicine doctor "internist". He/She will probably send you to get a sleep study and will probably check a few labs as well. If no personal recommendations from others, google top columbus doctors or something like that. Matt
  8. No problem, I am glad you enjoyed the drive. I would like to film my driving sometime, I'm sure I would be able to pick up a lot of things I am doing wrong. Matt
  9. My slow ass is finally going to make it. Since you have always been very helpful to me, I know it isn't your style but my mustang is always open. I THINK I have the hesitation fixed. Give me a call if you want. Matt 570 - 4091
  10. Sorry I didn't say hello. I didn't see this until just now (our computer went down). Anyway, I had a complete blast. By the end I was pretty happy with my driving (at least for my fist time out). I really need to work on my timing on the real long turns though. I was pretty pleased with the way my car handled (considering it is a mustang) and was even making up some ground through part of the turns on a couple of smaller cars. It was missing really bad though. Think it is something electrical, COP maybe, because occasionally it wold stop missing and I would get a boost of power. Instructor said it felt like a turbo kicking in. Can't wait to do it again, but will not be able to make the August event. And thanks everyone for the advise! Matt
  11. Thanks, What about the eye protection/goggles? I read somewhere that they were required in addition to a helmet, but no where else mentions this(including the tech sheet). I just want to make sure I have everything. My biggest fear (other than crashing) is to get there and not be able to run. Thanks and sorry for all the questions.
  12. Unfortunately, I will only be there on Friday. I can't wait though. Should be a lot of fun. I realize my driving skills are about 0, so I am not expecting much the first time. The reason I asked about the corvette was that I read somewhere that "anything without a fixed top had to have a roll bar." Since technically you can remove the top of a corvette (?not fixed?), does that mean all corvettes not just convertibles need a roll bar?
  13. The intake should be fine (in fender well). Not 100% sure what tire pressures to run. Probably high 30s to start? Couple of questions... 1) Do you need eye protection (goggles)? I saw it mentioned someplace but no where else mentions it, just a snell rated helmet. 2) Do regular corvettes (non-convertable, non-coup) require a roll bar? I wouldn't think so, but the top is removable. Thanks,
  14. I will be going to Mid-Ohio this Friday for a NASA HPDE. Any advise? I think I have everything on the car ready. I am a little concerned about my battery tiedown, but can't find a better one and it has never been a problem at AX or Trails. Everything else I can think of should be good (tires,brakes,...) Will anyone one else be there? Matt
  15. Not to bring it up or anything but for future reference, if we had really crappy weather and an event was canceled where would it be posted? See everyone Sat. morning, Matt
  16. Again, see my thread someone posted above. 100% satisfied. Clifford Automotive
  17. I just wanted to say thank you to Clifford automotive for their great job of fixing my mustang. Stupid me rearended someone that first bout of bad weather. Kevin did a great job with the bodywork and paint. In addition it was a VERY reasonable price. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I know Kevin is a site sponsor and visits often so I will let him post a couple of pics if he wants since I didn't really get any good ones. Clifford Automotive 614-806-4497 Matt
  18. PM sent concerning some body work Thanks! Matt
  19. Plan on registering tonight. I have my car back! Still on street tires, but the suspension should help a little.
  20. I liked the vette, but got terrible times. It really wanted to wag its tail end. I am not sure if it was the cars new tires, a slick surface due to being the first group, or that I may just not as used to the car. As much as I would love to own a vette, I will be happy when I get my mustang back. With the new suspension it should be pretty nice. Accelerating through the back of the coarse was a lot of fun though.
  21. Please do, Since I don't get out much, I don't know many people and I would like to meet more I will be there in a stock black 2001 vette. Probably have #14. Speaking of driving different cars, do any of you know what class I will be in off of the top of your head?
  22. My car is in the shop, but I am trying to convince my dad to let me borrow his vette... I did so well getting out early this year to the driving school then haven't been able to get back yet
  23. Yea, Thanks for setting everything up! It was nice meeting some of you. I had a good time, although lousy times. Best I could muster was a 13.44@108 with an almost 2.2 60' One of these days I am going to learn how to launch my car... After seeing that new Z06 I have a few organs up for sale.
  24. I will plan on being there, but I think I will wait until about 12:30 or so give it a chance to dry up a little.
