Oh that camaro is a fast car. I said that before, the first night he just had two passangers and was on cheap tires from what he said. Ya but either way you get in a ton of runs and Im sure if you really want one mike can work something out for you. Either way it will give you a good idea of what you may run just off of what your competition does and what is done to the cars. They want it to be a fun event that is as close to the street as you can get without actually being on the street. That is their overall goal to at lest a few weekends here in there get us on the track instead of always doing shit on the street.

What is cheap? That car is a monstar and I would even may want to take a look at it pending on what your defenition of cheap is. Something tells me it is a lil different than mine ha ha ha.

They are great cars. Not much to worry about as far as I know. How much power you looking to push? Lsx blocks can take a gang of abuse before they go just be smart and upgrade the other stuff to hold it all together and you should have no problems.

No helmet needed cause they do not hand out slips. By all means you can wear one but I have seen quite a few quick cars up there and drivers not wearing a helmet. Ya your at a track but its more like street dig racing. Cars get spotted out and some runs are flagged, or on the go the tree isnt even used all the time.

Ha ha ha. I have to say I noticed the change as well. I do not mind it one bit. He has said some funny stuff in the past though. Come out. There are meets on the weekends too. Also there is Grudge racing at MCIR every now and then and some people off the forum attend that as well.

This has been a very interesting read. I do have to agree that CR is not what it used to be, however, in life we know that everything does evolve. Because of this CR is what it is now. Do I miss the days that you could speak compleatly openly with no worries? Yes. But it is not that way now. After a major bust and some highly publicized arrests, and a death, it can not be that way. We had another forum for this and that was RC which I was an active user for years but for some reason can not find the forum now... Will people get out of hand and call each other out from time to time? Absoutly and it seems that stuff is let to slide but when people go out of their way to start a call out topic then ya shit is going to hit the fan. Athoney has said time and time again you can not set up races but vids of the aftermath and talk of what happened is ok not what is going to happen. When you go into what is going to happen then you are setting it up and he does not what that over his head. These are simple rules to go by so just do it. Do I even from time to time forget these rules and think this is the CR of old? Of course that is just how it goes. And yes the new people are going to get out of hand but give them time and they will learn the rules. No reason to ban newbs. Oh and to add I do see your point JP but this is the mans show and he can run it any way he wants to so we must follow his rules. That is just how it is.
