This is the supercharger that came off the engine. It is for sale. It is a stage 5+ from Steigemeier. You can spend this one as hard as u want. Make as much boost as you can. I had them do this one because I was going to convert to E-85, but didn't. This thing is nasty. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/108.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/105.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/102.jpg

Actually, I completed the car, I tuned it, and it's back apart for updates now. The clutch was great while it was in there. Mike

I have recently gotten a lot of questions about this build so I decided to post this. Here is a few photos of my Fox Body that I installed a 4.6L 4V motor in last year. These pictures were taken while the car was under construction. To save money I used the stock 04 Cobra engine harness and wired it into the fox body chassis harness instead of using a stand alone computer. If anyone is interested in doing a similar project, this will give you a good idea of how everything will look. The built included: 04 Cobra engine and supercharger, ported by Steigemeier Mike Ward Racing fabricated inner fender wells T56 trans 8.8 rear end w/disc brakes, Moser axles, Eaton diff., 4:10 gears. A1000 fuel pump w/boost ref. regulator, Aeromotive rails 60 lb injectors Modified BBK long-tube headers 3” in/out Flowmaster exhaust Mike Ward Racing built H-Pipe UPR K-member, w/coil-overs Cobra brakes MMR sub frame connectors Spec 3+ clutch Etc. etc. etc. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/DSCF1377.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/DSCF1374.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/myfox.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/DSCF1383.jpg

Thanks John for giving me the opportunity to help. It's truely a joy to tune on a car that is as nice as yours and makes as much power as yours does. I think it should be pointed out to everyone that your car still isn't 100% yet. I think if you guys get the fuel system resolved as we talked the next time we get it on the dyno, we will see much larger HP/TQ no.s Let me know when you are ready, we'll get you right in.

I am not a police officer but I have a Forensic Science degree. As many people posted, you should take a photo to court with you but chances are that the cop won't show up at all. Always go to court. What is the worst thing that could happen.....you end up paying the ticket that you would have paid anyways. If you disagree with the courts decision call the Licking County Commissioner and complain. Police use any reason to pull people over at those hours to see if you have been drinking. Nikki Ward -
Someone has done their homework (see above). I worked for Mobil Oil Corporation for 13 years and was the Division Manager of all western US sales and marketing for their commercial and industrial division and President Of their Canadan affiliate. I also have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, So I think I'm qualified to say the the statement above is correct. If anyone has been told that their car will run better on Sunoco 94 vs. Sunoco 93 they have been mislead. It essetially is the same stuff. Without getting into alot of unessecary technical mumbo jumbo, which I barely remember, I would suggest you use 93 and be glad they have eliminated 94. You will get the same performance and save .10/gal.

It could possibly be the wrong bellhousing or the wrong flexplate.

This weekend we had good success at dyno tuning our first front wheel drive round track car. It was an unusual but interesting configuration. The car is a Lumina with a 1990 V6 3100 series engine with a 1990 Beretta ECU. Mods include port and polished heads, upgraded camshafts and bigger injectors. In addition to getting better drivability we gained 40 hp and 30 ft lbs of torque. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/004.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/003.jpg We also dyno tuned an 01 Mustang GT this weekend. Results were favorable for as few mods as this car has. Final numbers were 284 hp and 305 ft lbs of torque. The mods include: Trick Flow Plenum Shorty Headers BBK X-Pipe Flowmaster Exhaust 4:10 Gear http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/Lovell001.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/012.jpg We tuned the 07 Mustang GT after we previously installed a K&N cold air kit, Flowmaster Exhaust and Ford Racing 4:10 gear. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/016.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/015.jpg By the middle of the month, we will be able to tune man OBDI GM model cars and trucks as early as 1986.

Thanks -
Last summer we hosted the 08 LX and Beyond Extreme Makeover at our shop. The event lasted four day and in that time, three employees and I worked around the clock. We got to work with a lot of great companies and had a great time. Mopar Action magazine has published an article about the event and it can be found here: http://www.moparaction.com/Article/LX/LX.html

Just for additional clarification, the tuning session was a collaborative effort between Tim, John, Pat Barnhill and Mike Ward. While Tim did take on the responsibiltiy of them major portion of tuning the blow thru carbs, there were several other areas that Mike was responsible for diagnosing, changing and/or making repairs, such as ignition timing, supercharger performance and debugging the fuel system. This was just an initial debugging session and the tune is scheduled to be completed at a later date.

That was one of the reasons we chose the Mustang Dyno. We have done cars up to 2000 hp and have no slippage. -
