  1. We recently had the opportunity to dyno Bill Lutz's 1967 Twin Turbo Camaro. Bill is well known for having one of the fastest Heavy Street cars in the United States. His accomplishments include a 2004 OSCA Pro Street Championship, Milan's 2007 Outlaw 10.5 title and a Heavy Street win at the 2007 Shakedown at E-Town. The camaro made close to 1400 hp at only 15 lbs of boost at our tune-up/de-bugging session prior to an all out track pass at 30 lbs of boost (est. 2500 hp). Lutz was recently featured in Fastest Street Car Magazine so be sure to check him out! We are extremely proud that Bill chose Mike Ward Racing for his dyno tune session. Thanks Bill and good luck in 2009 and beyond. Check out a video of one of Bill's pulls. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/dynosheet.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/lutz.jpg
  2. More space, better price and more visibility.........of course that is when we paint the building...lol
  3. We moved the shop back in Feb. We are on Main St. just a few miles from Jegs and closer to the track. Our new address is: 12981B National Rd SW Pataskala, OH 43062
  4. Local racer, John Evans of Steel Tree Construction, has been working on his Mustang for over 3 years. The 1988 Mustang features a 400 cubic inch SBF with a gear driven F2 Procharger. John plans to run in the OSM Outlaw Drag Radial Class. After finally completing the project, John chose Mike Ward Racing to dyno tune. While the initial dyno session was cut short due to problems with the supercharger discharge tubing, the initial results were very favorable, yielding over 800 hp at partial boost. John is currently in the process of making minor mechanical repairs and modifications . We anticipate his return to our dyno in the near future for a final tuning session where we expect to see numbers in the 1600 hp range. John has come a long way on his car and we can’t wait to see it put out those numbers on our dyno and at the track. We will keep everyone updated on John’s progress. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/237.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/238.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/240.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/242.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb192/mxward1/244.jpg
  5. Chad, great results for your 1st time out. I can put your can on my scales and tweek your suspension to get it to hook. You will be amazed at the difference. Just let me know if you are interested. Just a note...it's hard to tune a chassis without scales.
  6. You are correct...I don't think anything was super secret...However, out of respect for our customers, we don't give out any information about our customers cars unless we have thier permission first. Then we have to kill you! Mike
  7. Hello Chad, Great to hear from u and glad to see that you are a part of the CR community. It's a great group with a wealth of knowledge and a good source of support. We have a chassis dyno now and would love to help anyway we could. Call me if you need anything. Mike
  8. I had a couple of people ask if they could get a closer look at your car. I told them they would probably have to buy a ticket to your garage to see it.
  9. Brian, Welcome to CR. We need to get the 86 on my dyno now. One or two quick pulls to 8600rpm should tell us if the tranny will hold or not. Mike
  10. I think Nikki sent you a quote. It's still good and we can help if you want us too. Let me know. Mike
  11. Thanks for the props...We're just trying to keep up with you big dogs in Newark.
  12. If you were on this side town, I'd suggest u bring to us. However, Brian is much closer to you if he can do it for you. If not we can help you today.
  13. Glad you are happy with the results. I must say you have one of cleanest lightning's I have every worked on and the best numbers on our new dyno so far. Mike
  14. Yeah! He's sure. However, brakes are kind of important....I would recommend that you have someone ck them out when you are done and before you go speeding down the highway. Im sure CR doesn't want to loose any member so early in the year.
  15. ok, I'll send you a quote on a supercharger set up as well. Probably won't get it to you until tomorrow though.
  16. I think the build is a great idea, I think NOS is a bad idea. It's just too much work vs. a supercharger. Yeah, it's a little more expensive up front but once its done you don't have to worry about anything. I think with the mods you have mind, about $7500 budget is going to be closer to where you'll end up.
  17. I got a couple PMs from you. I think I responded to all of them. If I missed one pls let me know and I'll get on it ASAP.
  18. Yes to Arc Hot Rods but I don't know about the NHRA team. He also worked for Grashel's(spelling?) fabrication also. His work is top notch, one of the best.
  19. We are pleased to anounce that John Patterson has joined the team at Mike Ward Racing. John is an awesome fabricator and welder. He has been building chassis and roll cages for years. His experience and knowledge is just what we have been looking for. It will help move us up yet another level and give our customers another reason to select us for their next project. We will post some pics of some of Mike Ward Racings current and past projects, including some of John's work in the near future.
  20. You are very welcome Nate. It was a pleasure working with you also. I'm sure we'll being working together on more projects real soon. It is very clear that you have a terrific handle on FAST and other stand alone fuel injection systems. I think we got great results in a relatively short period of time. Can't ask for more than that. Mike
  21. If you can get it here, I'm sure I can fix it. Even if you have to tow it, I probably will be able to fix it for less than what the dealership will cost you. Let me know.
