Hi, sorry I didn't respond to the PMs about this. I finally made it up to Sonic tonight to talk to their manager. They said we can meet there on Sunday, which is a plus because they are having some sort of car show later on in the day. I'm calling their main guy Wednesday to see if we can get some parking blocked off. But we are a go. Sunday, July 12th, 2009 at 2pm @ Sonic in Polaris

I use to go down to Maryland on my boat and watch the fireworks. It's such a cool and fun thing to do, seeing a lake full of green and red marker lights. Wish I could've gone down there this weekend.

What an terrific story, and I get her my respect. She's a smart woman getting all her parts with life-time warranties. That's a genius move right there. And what's more is she respects the idea that a license is a privilege, not a right and she takes care of her car.

They have totally ruined one of the best-looking cars on the road.

I have to say that I'm extremely lucky that my friends and people I know who were over there came back (relatively) unharmed. I am thankful to them and to whatever protected them over there, whether it be luck or something else. I have to agree. People are use to it now. I don't even think they list those who have died over there anymore on the news. Terrible.....

I was thinking about planning a get-together at the Sonic in Polaris on Sunday, July 12th. Let me know if people can make it and I'll go up and talk to them about setting something up.
