  1. $15k OBO, no one has any partial trades and offers or anything?
  2. 5 speed auto, correct. The wagon is great, it's the ultimate sleeper. I don't get a second look from boyracers, cops, or otherwise plus it can be so useful sometimes and I just like the body lines and looks better than the sedan. Thanks for posting up the carfax. I did in-fact seek out a wagon and took a one-way flight to Rolla, MO to buy the car. It rolled over to 25k on the drive home. I was able to speak to the original owner before I bought it, he was a retired gentleman in his 60's. His wife made him get rid of the car to buy something that seats 7. He said they bought a Buick Enclave, I made the comment "that's a nice vehicle" and his response was "yeah, but I wish I still had my Subaru." so he was somewhat of an enthusiast.
  3. love this car, but we have a 1 year old, and are now a single-income family so I have to prioritize. 55,000 miles, '05 LGT Regal Blue Pearl wagon in great condition! 5EAT, limited, black leather interior and sunroof. 6-disc, heated seats, mirrors, and wipers. Options include auto-diming mirror w/compass, subwoofer, and roof racks. VIN: 4S3BP676654337001 The mods are pretty mild: Perrin drop-in air filter, Grimspeed cat-less uppipe and crossover pipe. Huge B&M tranny cooler, RalliTek poly trans mount bushing insert, tune by Thorne that I have over 10k miles on. RalliTek "Sport" springs on factory struts. 5000K H.I.D.'s and cleared headlights. Blacked-out "wings" in grill. Rally Armor urethane mudflaps, window tint (35% on front windows and hatch window, 20% on the other 4 windows). I have Michelin Pilot snow tires with only two seasons on the factory wheels, and 5Zigen FN01R-C's in bronze, but they don't have to go with the car. All maintenance with oil changes every 3,000 miles, the 30k maintenance with new factory sparkplugs, an oil change, coolant drain and refill with Subaru cooling system treatment, ECT.... The car doesn't need anything, I would drive it across the country at the drop of a hat. $15,500 OBO Pics: also looking for a reliable, sporty, economical daily driver. Partial trades considered.
  4. reminds me of the old Saab Suites.
  5. video was funny, "message" was ghey
  6. "Easy now, fuzzy little man-peach" "I'm gonna hurt you" "'excuse me?" "I like you" "Make an assesment" The Mighty Boosh is on Adult Swim now
  7. I remember that beast, it was rowdy! Yeah '05-'06 I think, you had just got that red supercharged Nissan Frontier. You know, I don't think I knew you had Subaru, I remember a few going in and out out of the shop, but that's not exactly shocking. I love my Leggy, comfort and performance. Some hate on the wagon, but cops never even notice me. Drew, I remember the Viper, I wish I had enough balls to do more than take it up and down the street.
  8. I'v been a member for a while, but don't have many posts so I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but Welcome! Kelly and Drew, I haven't seen you guys for a while, it's Russell from AutoZone, I used to come hang at the old shop at Rt 3 and 161. It's cool to see you guys are still together!
  9. that 9-2x would be a great candidate, I was going to suggest a WRX (or even just Impreza) wagon anyway. LGT's are nice, but you'll have a hard time finding a nice wagon, let alone one for under $15k that's a Limited, '05+ anyway. And i'd say n-o on the Audi, especially if it's going to be a higher mileage car. They are really nice cars, but I wouldn't want to have to pay for any parts.
  10. nice wheely for sure, looks/sounds like it might be a turbo Subaru moror
  11. Installed the DDM 5000K kit on my Legacy GT a few weekends ago, love them!
  12. I would have to say that is the intake manifold, my good man.
  13. I pulled the cap and sure enough the o-ring had slipped down partially and got cut up by the threads, must have been the ham-fisted oil change gorilla who touched it last. Went an bought a new filter with o-ring and all seems to be good. BTW I did bring my 32mm, but it is an axel socket so of course it hit the intake, but I was able to get it off with a pair of pliers. And it does say 25nm for the torque. I was hoping it was going to be simple and cheap, thanks everyone for your input!
  14. okay, I'll make sure to bring a 32mm with me. Thanks!
  15. I'll remove the filter cap at work tomorrow. It has a huge hex cap with a smaller raised hex on top of that, but I could have sworn the cap said 25mm right on it, is that possible? Where is the oil pressure sender located?
  16. Hey all, I have a buddy at work who has an '04 Grand AM with the "f" code 2.2L DOHC Ecotech engine with about 85k on it and it has a massive oil leak! I worked on the GM 2.2L OHV engine quite a bit, but under his hood this afternoon was the first time I have looked at the DOHC. He has a huge oil leak to the tune of about a quart a day. I took a look at the places I would suspect a leak from first, the valve covers appear to be fine. The o-ring where the distributor enters the head looks okay, and he told me the car doesn't smoke at all. All of the oil is on the driver's side pooling up on the tranny and if I remember correctly it is also on what appears to be part of the tranny mount, which is stamped with a huge "RH" on it. I am eyeing the o-ring on the oil filter lid, but after starting it up, revving it up, and then shutting it off and letting it sit, I can't see where it is leaking from. He said he had his oil changed about two months ago, but he just noticed the leak last week, so I don't think it was an installation error. I was just curious if this is a common problem with these engines, are there any other known issues, or if someone who is familiar with these engines has any suggestions? Thanks
  17. This guy is funny. Something different, like a Mustang GT? I like the hearse, I wanted to do a 5.9L Cimmins Diesel in one. Allthough it seems as though most chicks don't dig hearses. Go figure.
