I'm Russell and I'm noob. I live in Delaware,
Ohio (20 miles north of Columbus) and I have an '86 turbocoupe that
needs to go. It was a donor car for my turbo notch project, I
allready took the gauge cluster, pedal assembly, taillights, grill,
nylon fuel lines, engine, tranny, driveshaft, 8.8, ECU, and the
related wiring connectors to swap it into my '91 stang. The blue
cloth intior is in pretty good shape, the car only has 116k on the
clock, all the power accessories, doodads, and gagets seem to work
verry well. There is a tear on the driver's seat left bolstering (of
course), but other than that I was suprised how nice it is! I only
had the car for a few weeks before I started to strip it down and a
faulty fuel pump kept me from driving it daily. The 7.5" out of the
stang is under it now with the bolts thrown in, I was going to swap
out the front spindles and I stripped them down before I realized the
brakes were the same as the 'stang, so i just threw the rotors on. It
is on all fours on "14 stang wheels, it rolls and steers, but I never
hooked up the rear brakes and the front calipers are gone, so no
brakes. You could probably lift the front wheels and dolly it, but if
you were going to flat tow it you will need to replace the front wheel
bearings. The body probably won't be of any use to anyone there is
rust on every panel, but the glass and interior is all good,
The local scrap places will come get it and give me a few bucks,
but I would mutch rather have someone get some use out of it. If you can come get it, or make arrangements with me
in the next week I would love to see it roll out of here for parts
than it get turned into fencing I would like $100 for it to put
into my project, I'm on a verry tight budjet, But I also would be
willing to trade for parts as well. I know I need an E6 exhaust manifold, and an LA3 ECU, but I wouldn't mind having a new set of wheels, spare motor, head ect.
