    Wtb F150

Looking to get an F-150 or a Ranger. Trying to spend $2k or less. More leaning toward the F150 full size truck though. Needs to be an Automatic. That is my only requirement. Big pluses would be: Extended cab and 4x4. Lemme see what you got!
  3. I cant, I need 4x4 and has to be in at least close to as good of condition as the SHO is.
  4. I'd probaby do about $2000 OBO on the price if sold outright. How much newer of a truck are we talking here?
  5. Umm, WTF is that supposed to mean?
  6. I also drive a Cobra.....anyway back on topic.
  7. Well, after my wife decided to get rid of her 4x4 truck to get into a new 2006 Fusion. I have realized how much I miss having a truck around, so I have decided to see if anyone would be interested in a little trade. Hoping to get an F-150, or a Ranger in decent condition. I prefer Ford but I'll consider others "chevy, dodge etc.". Only things I require is that its an automatic(so my wife can drive it) and that it is 4x4. If anyone is interested let me know, or if you know of someone that would like to get out of their truck and into a quick 4-door, please tell them about this! This is a 1991 Taurus SHO with the "PLUS" package. This trim package was only available in '91 on select SHOs. It consists of a special "bulged" fiberglass hood, rear trunk mount spoiler and blackened outside mirrors and door posts. This is the high performance taurus with the 220 hp yamaha built 3.0L V6 and manual 5 spd. trans. It has been converted to the ROD type shifter instead of the cable. It's all white (including the white "slicer" rims) with sunroof and all black interior. Everything on this car works perfectly. There are no hiccups or anything. Climate control, CC, power windows, etc. During the time that I have owned it, it has been babyed. Strict oil and filter changes every 3,000 with Motorcraft brand filters only. Front and rear motor mounts, all 4 struts AND springs, thermostat and hoses, 4 brake calipers, pads and rotors, brake cables, tune, and more were all done within 20,000 mi ago. Recently (with in the past 5,000 mi.) it has recieved a new clutch kit with new throwout bearing and sleeve, sparkplug wires (no oil leaks into the sparkplug wells), coil pack, and waterpump. The tint was beginning to bubble on the passenger side windows so I removed it in hopes of retinting it later but never got around to it. The rear window tint is bubbling. The RR door and trunk lid were replaced a few years ago due to rust. Tires are all good shape w/ plenty of tread. It's a fun to drive car that gets at least 25 mpg in my all around driving. I hope who ever gets her will appreciate her as much as I have. These cars are becoming more and more rare with each passing year. And this car, with it's particular option package, is bound to become a collectors one day with a restoration. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/SHOtyme24v/Taurus2.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/SHOtyme24v/Taurus3.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/SHOtyme24v/Taurus.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/SHOtyme24v/a1_12.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/SHOtyme24v/80_3.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/SHOtyme24v/76_12.jpg
  8. Thank you! I'll go with your advice
  9. Does the truck run well? Is it drivable if the hood was removed for the time being?
  10. Well, I just freakin bought a 2006 Ford Fusion less than a month ago, it still even has the temp tags on it. Then today I find out that Ford is now offering 0% Fincancing on it for 72months! Is there any way I can still get in on that? Or am I SOL?
  11. Car is located in Findlay, OH
  12. Extremely interested. Get me your number too, also send some pics to Shotyme24v@yahoo.com Cash in hand!
  13. Thanks. As far as cash I would need around $2000
  14. Would you be able to see if they had a number on them anywhere?
  15. If anyone wants to buy it outright, I'm open to offers too
  16. Last buyer didnt have the credit to get it. Still for sale!
  17. Lol, if you wanna come up to findlay here and do it we can! Just remember its a law of nature. Cobras cant lose.
  18. Maybe thats b/c you arent familiar with the powerband of the Mod Motors? You dont get your instant torque early like you do in the 5.0s. You gotta get your revs up and keep them up there. I've owned both myself and yes it is quite a difference. Go look up their stock quarter mile times if you dont believe me. STOCK VEHICLE TIMES 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra 1/4= 13.7 (C&D Oct '96) 1994 Ford Mustang GT 1/4= 14.9 (C&D Dec '93) Now how can you say there isnt much difference? A mid-high 13 sec. car versus a 15 sec. car. Sorry, but I fail to see your logic here...
  19. I think that opinion is invalid. Your mustang is a 94 (Aka slow). Definately a far cry from the DOHC 4.6 Cobra hes speaking of...
