So I blew a turbo on my DD and it needs a timing belt/water pump. I figured I might as well do everything on this motor and make it run for a while.
Heres whats getting done:
-crank seal
-timing belt kit with pullys
-rebuild the k03s for now until I can afford some k06s
-thermostat and gasket
-beefy stainless oil return lines
-valve cover gaskets
-serp belt
-rear main seal and gasket
and then what ever else is needed along the way...
Heres some pics before and the start of the process:

I'll keep updating as the process happens.
I always read about cars when I was young. When I turned 15 1/2 I bought my celica and did basic stuff on that by myself, then bought an Audi and a DSM and started working on those a lot.
I did research online for a while then when I graduated high school I went to CSCC for their auto program but I wasn't getting much out of it. Now I'm at UTI phoenix doing what I love doing. I'm going through the Volkswagen program soon too.
I'm a little over halfway done with my associates degree in automotive technology from UTI Phoenix. After that I am taking Ford FACT electronics training program at the same campus. By February next year I'll be in Exton, PA at the Volkswagon training program for 4 months. I have a job lined up with one of the Columbus area VW dealerships and I'll be a master tech in a few years.
Right now I work at brake masters in Phoenix while I'm in school.
yep, but they actually are fairly strong motors, my buddy just did a twin turbo setup on a V6 accord motor with stock bottom end. I'm not a Honda fan by any means but I was actually impressed.
That would be a kid named Sean, his dad passed away and he got a bunch of life insurance money. He can't drive worth a damn or at least he couldn't before I left Cbus.
