  1. Andy is the man! He has done my car the past two summer's.
  2. i cited them Oh my teachers would be proud
  3. The compressor wheel is smaller than the 39. 250-325whp (im assuming 325 includes meth or some race gas) This is the standard equipment turbocharger used on the JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STi 22b. The VF23 is a ball bearing turbocharger that utilizes the P20 exhaust housing like the VF22. This housing is mated with the smaller compressor housing of the VF24 for fast response and excellent low and mid-range performance. It does not have the same top end power of the VF22, but spools up slightly quicker. Expect to achieve full boost with the proper mods and a quality tune between 2800-3300rpms. 2002-2005 WRX owners will need fuel upgrades for this turbocharger and proper engine management is highly recommended for all vehicles. -stolen from nasioc's turbo list
  4. correct. It is the turbo off of the 22b sti. BIG P20 exhaust housing (like a vf22) but a smaller compressor wheel (vf24). Very fast spooling turbo, great for auto x.
  5. yea ive got to take some, ill post some up by this weekend.

    hey CR

welcome. you stole my sign off.
  8. Ive thought about it...but the wrx is plenty fast enough for me and I dont want the insurance issues. I have been thinking about selling my wrx and getting a new sti, but this is only after a better job and i can afford the payments associated with it. check out http://www.nasioc.com and read up on the stickies. tons of good info there. oh and ps. a wrx with only a few mods will walk away from an sti.
  9. WRX: 02-05 are 2.0L, 5 spd(weak), smaller brakes, not as good suspension. Black interior, small td04 turbo. 5x100 06+ are 2.5L, STI: 2.5L w/ bigger turbo (vf39,43,48), 6spd (strong), brembo brakes, better suspension (aluminum sway arms etc.) 5x114.3, BBS wheels Im sure there is more, but thats the most important stuff. Be careful buying a modded car and know who owned it. I wouldnt purchase one... Good mods are uppipe (wrx), downpipe, ecu reflashed or tune. That yields around 230ish whp on a wrx and 280-300 whp on an sti. IF your planning on going with a bigger turbo, get the sti. Saves you from worrying about replacing the tranny. Your insurance company will love you for it though.
  10. carmax told my dad his 03 lexus gs430 was worth 12k. He left pretty abruptly.

  13. I know the kid with the white/blue stripe civic. Good friend of mine and a good person as well. That civic can MOVE... trapped 115-16 in those vids and was close to 120 towards the end of last summer. As for the kid who made the the vid, I have no idea. I think my friend doesnt even know him, it was more like "can I put your car on the net" and hes pretty easy going guy so he didnt mind.
  14. There was a warehousing job just posted on here for pepsi offering 15.22 an hour. It sounds like some lifting may be involved, but the environment will probably be better.
