imo, get an 04-05 model. Ive been on nasioc for a few years and these model years have had far less tranny problems than the bugeyes or the 06-07s. The first summer the 06-07 models came out there must have been a broken tranny thread a day on nasioc. Apparently, the torque from the 2.5 is just too much for the tranny they used on the 2.0s. Early bugeyes had some tranny probs, but supposively the later model 03s had some changes. The 05 models have been proven to be RA gear width, but not as strong due to the cut. -per Tuning Factory, once known as Godspeed.

I am getting ready to graduate college this spring and I feel the need to move onto a more long term project car. I have been in awe of the GTM since it was released and I have been toying with the idea of purchasing the kit. Obviously, this would be a long term project... around 1.5-2.5 years with steady work each week. But, I think it would be hella fun and interesting at the same time. Has anyone on here built one or know of someone who has? I've been reading http://www.ffrcobra.com, and I am curious as to whether any members here are on there as well?

<----- from kenton It takes me about 50 min to get from the dublin area to kenton. It also takes me exactly 24 min to get to findlay from kenton (had summer class there last year) Hope that helps. I dont go to toledo often so i cant really help there. I would say it should take about an hour 1/2 though.
