  3. not in 2" You'd think someone would have to have a mandrel bender in Columbus. I found a place in new york that could custom make pieces and ship them to me.
  4. I just need 3 bends in my truck's exhaust system and I was hoping I could get them mandrel bent rather than crushed. 2in aluminized pipe. i just need a 15 degree, a 90 degree and a 45 degree. if i can't get them locally I guess i could have them shipped in. Also whats the best place to buy strait pipe around here? Thanks!!
  5. last year I spent over $4,000 in gas with a car that gets 39 MPG consistently, this year I don't know what to do, motorcycle sounds pretty good to me, that's the only thing i can think of.
  6. Was anyone pissed they shut down the entrance ramp 315 north to Ackerman? I don't know my way around over there and almost every intersection was blocked off after that it took me an extra 20 minutes to get there, just enough to make me late, I lost $26 in entrance fees and another $15 in gas. I'm so pissed.
  7. something around 250 cc, I would like a old Honda rebel but I'm open to to others as well need something for commuting. possibly trade for my 93 Toyota Corolla. It's in good shape shape 5-speed 217,000 miles runs and drives 100% has good audio system, has two little rust spots and paint looks like crap. I'd say she's worth $1200 Thanks

  9. These wheels are in good structural shape, one has a gouge in it but other than that they're good. There is corrosion on them throughout. Would look great sandblasted and painted. These look like American Racing wheels and were sold to be with American Racing center caps (I am Keeping) but I'm not sure if they really are genuine American Racing wheels. Rolled smoothly down the road when i had them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/IMG_1490.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/IMG_1489.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/IMG_1488.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/IMG_1487.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/IMG_1486.jpg located in Pataskala easily taken to Newark. $100!
  10. I'm on my first year, so far it's not really paying off, crap conditions, crap pay, and lots of money for tools. and yes invest in a good pair of boots it's defiantly worth it. i feel like crap when i get home from work everyday and I'm only 18. but it's probably one of the highest paying jobs without college that's easy to get.
  11. I've tuned 3 cars around and I make about $800 on each one. you just have to wait until you find a really great deal, that and having a truck/trailer is nice.
  12. That makes sense, the rack and the bay aren't my biggest problems don't you think $8/hour is a joke though? Just trying to keep my eye out to see if i can better myself. trying to keep my college debt as low as possible. does ASE make a big difference?
  13. Right now I've been working as a Mechanic for Sommer Auto for only about 4 months. Before that I've been working at Sommer about for over 2 years doing other taskes such as automotive electronic systems diagnostics and repair. stereo system installs. and my main job of installing starter interrupters. I have no automotive schooling and I'm not ASE certified yet (defiantly want to be soon I pass practice tests.) I Have lots of knowledge and a significant amount of experience (working on my own cars, friends cars and my dads projects.) I have a set of tools. probably my biggest limitation is that I'm currently in high school until May 12th. I want to work full time over the summer though and I will start college in the fall. I live east of Columbus. The reason why I would like to move to a new place to work is simple. They do not take me seriously and do not let me just work. Other than that some smaller issues are; bay is falling apart, water drips on your head constantly. Crappy portable rack only goes halfway up. let me know if any of you have Ideas Thanks!
  14. I've got one with remote and harness, it worked when i pulled it off a car. don't know the brand, I'll sell it for $40 if anyone wants it
  15. got it sighted in, big darby was a great range, a nice facility and a good staff. Even though it's an "outdoor range" you still sit inside a structure thats heated and shoot out a window. After I got the shottie sighted in I went and unloaded about 300 rds. of .22 that made the 45 minute trip out there worth while. Hunting sucked today though. I saw a nice 8 point in the morning but couldn't get a shot lined up in time before he saw me and ran away. Then after about 10:45 the snow came, then the freezing rain came after that. I'm lucky I made it out of my tree alive. There was a 1/2 inch of ice on the climbing pegs......
  16. I'm using a mossburg 500 with a rifled barrel 20ga 3in, federal sabot slugs that cost $20 for 5. and i got a 9X scope. i'm going to the range soon i'll let you guys know what happens.
  17. yea, I'll start close in to get my scope on the paper but it would be nice to move out to 150 eventually. Thanks alot for the info though!!!
  18. I know i waited too long but I need to sight my shotgun in tomorrow for deer season this weekend. Anyone know of any rifle ranges longer than the 75 feet at NASR or blackwing? I wanted to sight in at 150 yards. I wish I had land.......
  19. My mr2, bought it at 14 with money from selling relatives stuff on eBay. when i bought it it was a rusted piece of junk, guy wanted $2400 but i talked him down to $1600. I'm glad i bought it though. should be receiving a manual transmission in a couple of months. don't have any digital pics of when i first got it but this is what she looked like about 2 years (and 2 coats of paint) ago: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/Mr2afterpaint2-1.jpg and two months ago: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/mr_x9/ovr1104_685.jpg
