  1. yea good idea, not very many automatics for sale, defantly have my eye open for one though!
  2. whoa thanks alot! me and my freind plan on cheaking out the one with 50K miles on it on sunday, so,, i know the wheel berrings and trasmission give out relly early, anything else good to know about that car? i hear it only takes 70K miles for the tranny to quit? anything you can do to slow down the damadge?
  3. IDK why but he doen't like the look of most of them,
  4. really? i found one on auto trader, whare's the other 2?
  5. no not relly, he doen't like them because they're so common, He would RELLY like to have one of them, hard to find one for sale around here though, Great idea, put his picky mom says no 5 speeds, witch doen't make sence, the airbag thing and the RWD thing makes sence, but no excuse for why a 5 speed is unsafe. another great idea, likes those as well, we've yet to acutlly test drive one though. no i don't like korean cars at all, he wants to have a reliable car, and although some american cars are relible, they do carry a reputation of being not quite as reliable as others, (also his parents have a dodge ram, and dorango that break left and right both are about 200' models but the 90' camery hasn't ever has a problem) but your right alot of american cars are fast i asked him about a maxima, i have on the car lot (97') that i work at, i guess he doen't think it's sporty enough, he's trying rely hard to get a job, i take him on runs to get job apps and turn them in, just no luck so far. thaks for all the impot!
  6. this is for my freind, his paretns are going to buy him a $6Kish car, but only IF the car meets the following standards: (all the good stuff) no RWD no manual trans also he requests: no american cars no kereon cars 120K miles or under needs to be sporty (looking mainly for 2 door)
  7. get a old rabbit for 1,000 then dump 9,000 into it (strip it, do a 16V swap then put in a turbo)
  8. anyway i'm just saying in my opinion i thought i liked it, i probiply will never buy one, expect maybe in 10 years i might get a used 06' or 07' i don't know, plus lok at the 100% japonise parts content! (i know alot of you on here don't care about that but i do)
  9. My dad brought home a sicon TC to test-drive, i drove it and it's relly fast concidering it a stock, 2.4L and it handled beter than i tought it would (DEF not as good as My MR2 tough) and for $21,000 it's not too horrible. i thought it was relly good,
  10. my rabbit and mr2 don't have power sterring, i like it alot better, more contral, all-though if i had i big car i would want it.
  11. restored my 88' MR2, striped all exirior peices painted it, put it all back togeater, a few performance things hear and thare, but mainly getting it up to ware it should be stock, then at the peak of when things were perfect, i wreaked it................................................................................................................................................ then i bought a rabbit, and it's 4X better than when i bought it, (witch is still rely bad)
  12. it's a relly small one, we have about 60 cars total, it's called sommor auto on the corner of broad st. and summit rd. if you know whare that is.
  13. MR2 fender that freashly painted/rust free.
  14. i think i would be a great idea, but yea, all of those problems...... IDK
  15. the radaitor is a common problem with those, my bro has a 90' and he beats the shit out of it without doing matmence, it has 200,000 on it with no signs of stoping. and for the high RPM cheak for vaccume leaks
  16. can't find a model number, i guessing the cheaper end, all i can fin on the back is: 4 ohm 550 590
  17. i like the idea, trails is just 9 min. away from my house
