  1. I'd like to buy this stuff local if at all possible. Intake needs to be from a 2.5RS or 2.5I
  2. Looks like a great gun! I have two Kel-tecs and love their products. Hard to beat for the price. I would expect to PMR-30 to live up to that standard too, looks like a ton of fun. I'm thinking bowling pins?
  3. Prfects is my least favorite place to go, try oiler's in utica. Cheaper, more even cuts, better packaged and they're much faster, always takes one week. Good luck!
  4. Wow! nice kill. decent video too. I've yet to tag anything close to that in 12 years of deer hunting.
  5. Looks like a restyled Crawford Daytona prototype with some restyling and badges, going to run the same engine they've been running in DP for years. defeats one of the purposes of the whole class: The race cars are not made to look like street cars, that's why we have GT. Not impressed.
  6. Survival tactics has a foil wrapped 9 pack of bars that's good for 5 years or so. I think it was $15. If i had to guess I would say they are going to taste like shit though. They also have a rack of freeze dried food there too.
  7. It's a 1.6L so that's 160 HP an no it hasn't been dyno'd but that's what the motor makes stock at the crank.
  8. I thought I was going to keep this car forever but I came across a deal on something better and now she has to go, I'll be taking another loss on this car. Chassis has 265,xxx miles. Engine: It's a silvertop 4age 20v with VVT. I built the motor myself, all stock except for a TRD headgasket, bowl blended and polished head, and the head was shaved down to the limit. All machine shop work done by M&M head services including a valve job. Valve cover and surge tank powdercoaded by performance powdercoating. Plastic parts painted by Tongda autobody. Revs to 7,500 RPM. Motor has less than 5,500 miles on it. other mods included: Polk speakers in the front doors Pioneer 6x8s in the rear deck Kenwood head unit with aux hookup and cable Audiobahn 800watt amp Audiobahn 10" sub. Uhaul trailer hitch OEM trailer wiring kit A/C delete Other parts I've replaced while I've owned this car: rear struts and springs, front ball joints. 85 MR2 wheels 88 Toyota Cressida seats in great condition (Super comfy) New OEM axles OEM Clutch kit OEM Master and slave cyl front hawk HPS pads front rotors brake and clutch fluid flushed. Problems: Yes I know you can see that big green pair of pinch pliers still on there. That is the idle control valve... for now. It's the only thing I couldn't figure out during the swap. The valve works just isn't being commanded by the ECU. It must be missing an input. I haven't spent very much time trying to figure it out yet either. i may figure it out soon. It idles a little high warm and a little low cold but it's not that problematic really. The oil control valve for the VVT is leaking internally, I've located this part for $63, new the only problem is it takes about 6 weeks for it to come in. I f you want I can make a block off plate, you could still drive with no vvt, but no oil leak either. The custom power steering lines are hand made by me and I only planned to use them temporally until I could get some professionally made, they could be formed a little better, and they have begun to leak now too. I have found a place that will make them though. The e brake cables just seized up recently too. Tires are cheap but have 3/4 tread and perfectly even wear as this car was frequently aligned. there is some rust as pictured, the underside is fine though, It has been "rust proofed" obviously that plan didn't turn out too well but I think it helped. $1400 http://i.imgur.com/FXId9l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SD0dDl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/2niFLl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Nyympl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/paiHil.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ze4Hol.jpg http://i.imgur.com/awxbvl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bWgZPl.jpg
  9. didn't sell on ebay, now she's down to only $4,400.
  10. Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170704901765&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  11. This is where I bought a large portion of my tools, some good deals too.
  12. Coming form a fellow pro mechanic, cheaper than craftsmen and still ball bearing is a pretty tall order. the only other thing besides kobalt that comes to mind is Waterloo, don't really know where you can buy them but I've used them in past shops, they feel cheap but still work. The last place I worked one of the guys had a kobalt and some of the drawers were really hard to open and the other drawers would open on there own, bad enough were the box almost fell over, keep in mind this was abused daily and would prob hold up for home use. Or do what I did and work at Carmax so you can take all your good tools home.
  13. couldn't find it, most of the ones I've used have been propane so that's the first thing that came to mind. forgot about the flame sensor sounds like a likely culprit.
  14. I used to pay $45/month at 16 for the MR2, on my parents policy with grange, I pretty much had every discount possible, paid per year too. Now I pay that for the corolla and MR2 on my policy with progressive. Now if I could just get this damn WRX insurance figured out.
  15. Damn that's what i was afraid of. Looks like a great field gun though. GLWS
  16. fixed or interchangeable choke? any tubes?
  17. it's prob full of spiderwebs it seems they're attracted to propane. I always had luck with compressed air.
  18. The quote is just for the one car, remove the bit about the ticket and it goes down almost to half. Thanks alot asshole cop in Michigan:dumb:. Atleast I only have one year left of having to pay for that ticket, I think anyway. I've never seen a customer come in and change away they wanted their car to be fixed but then again I was never told the whole story just what I "needed" to know. I guess I may just have to get the cheapest thing I can find and if anything comes up I'll just have to strong arm them into fixing things the correct way? Sorry if it sounds obvious but this is just something I've never had to deal with before.
  19. First time I've ever had to care about what car insurance I have. I now have my first car that is worth a significant amount of money: 03 WRX. I live on campus, the car is parked off the street but it still remains outside, there is a significant threat of vandalism or theft. Mostly looking for just liability, uninsured and comprehensive insurance. I'm 22, single with one 5MPH ticket 2 years ago in Michigan. Quoted from progressive at $680/6months but that's just who has been carrying my minimum coverage on my past cars. It's not just about who has the cheapest price anymore, if I ever need a claim, my car would need to be fixed as good as it could be. I've been in the automotive repair industry for awhile and it seems almost all companies push for the cheapest parts they can think of. I've herd of unlimited bad insurance stories, but I don't know if I've ever herd a good story. Anybody care to share?
