Pull the alternator off and have it checked at a parts store. These alternators do not like high rpms, I would lean more towards the side of the alternator being bad.

The GTO is actually programed with that from the factory, along with a shift light just to the right of the tach, but it is shut off by GM when the car hits US grounds.

Do not get eibach srpings. The spring rates are all wrong on them, regardless of what anyone tells you. The sportines ride horribly, and the prokit is to soft for the track. Get with a company called Strano autoparts, Sam the owner will treat you right and get what you need.

Jegs fills it. The 11th ave store Monday thru fri 9-5 and Sat 9-4. The one off main fills anytime they are open. It is $4 per lb, and yes you do have to pay tax and it takes about five min.

SLP is actually coming out with a totally new re-designed set that fixes their clearance issue and outflows almost all of the competitors. I have done a couple, they are not that bad. Go with long tubes over shortys, you will be haapier in the long run. Getting them in can be a little tricky, on certian cars there is a tab on the block on the driver's side that can be ground down some, and they will slide right in. Or, you can remove the steering shaft which somepeople do not like to do, having done it both ways I would honestly say it's a toss up which one you choose. Try not to break a header bolt, if you don't have access to a welder getting it out will be a pain. Cost efective = Pacesetter or hooker. Best Quality = Kooks or SLP.
