You assume too much. Yes, it is true that we are limited mechanically to the speed of light. This does not mean it is the only form of travel(read: not necessarily human travel or transportation) or possible quicker communication. There are tons of hypothetical particles such as tachyons to assist in fast-travel theories (this including communication and particle transport). This is the reason for experiments, especially the LHC; most of what we know in the universe is hypothetical or observational.

I think agencies like NASA should be at the forefront of any public funding.

This is assuming we're correct in the shape and length of worm holes. I'm more interested in accelerating faster than light. I think it's much more important.

It is just a term I used to refer to the overall ability of thinking skill, problem solving, creativity, collective knowledge and so on. I actually had 2-3 posts after that but a mod or admin felt it was best to delete them for some odd reason.

I think when someone makes the self-determination that they're intelligent via an internet quiz, it seems a bit like an attempt at bragging. Rather then ask why someone is "butt hurt" about someone claiming intelligence, I question the intention to post such a thread in the first place.
