Heh, my roommate and a couple friends have beaten some of my times in some of the earlier races so I wen't back and used the fastest car allowed and wiped the floor with their times!! The "Free Breathing" challenge has no rules about using a race car, just so long as it's n/a!!!

I watched a race of some top ranked people, I don't know how they can do that with these overpowered high strung cars. I had one race where I ranked near the top 100, but that's it, these kids are amazing at these games.

What a shame.....I got to ride in one at autocross not long ago and they are amazing cars.

Jesse, where are those other shops you were talking about at?? I've had a good look at the Fisher and Specialized but would like to look at some other brands.

http://www.teamjamoto.com/dixeregionpage.htm#v8301600 I guess this happened this past weekend. Word is the wheels were brand new and possibly the lug nuts were the wrong thread pitch....but who knows. Sad to see it happen to a nice car as it obviously did some serious damage.

On saturday.....It's hard to say about riding along and what not. I know Ray and I talked about it and we will not be taking any passengers as we want to focused on learning what we can from the instructors. On sunday the normal novice course walk will be done and most people will take passengers.

The loaner helmets are for whatever, you just need to only borrow it when your driving/riding. If your not behind the wheel/riding put the helmet back, they have a problem with loaners being borrowed all day and their aren't enough for everyone. Make sure you use the "Painters" type masking tape, the other stuff will leave a nasty residue on your paint. Most any color is good as long as it's visible and the numbers/letters are legible.

Just talk to someone about co-driving with them for them event and offer them lunch or something as payment.

That's why you get a non-turbo like me, they don't make enough power to break anything. Jelloman, mine is still for sale, waiting for a good owner to swap in a turbo engine!!

I only mentioned the FS bike as Giant happened to offer one in the price range of the Fisher. After some reading one thing Fisher sticks to on FS is a really simply single pivot design, but they are simply too much money for me now. Jesse, I looked at your model online and it looks like a nice bike. I'm going to go to a couple more shops today as I'm off today and look around. Most likely right now I will end up getting a Gary Fisher as obviously I'm a bit partial to them.

Soon as my Laser is sold I can get a bike, I'm going out again tomorrow to a couple other shops to look around. I saw online Giant has a full suspension bike for about the same price as the Gary Fisher I was looking at so I'll have to check it out.

I'm really hoping to get a lot out of the drivers school as I havn't been driving well lately. See you there Rusty.

Jesse, I registered on that Spoke Junkies just now, should be nice to get some first hand info from locals and whatnot. I also stopped in A Gear Higher today, I was happy to see they carry Gary Fisher. They still make the Tassajara!!! That's what I used to have and they are in the price range I want to spend I think. I'll get some more info from that Spoke junkies site and some more looking online before I decide.

I say leave the abs alone, the brake system is designed to work wether the abs does or not and it's probably not worth the hassle of removing the abs.

This saturday the 16th there is a drivers school going on at the OSU lot, if you havn't already signed up for it you won't be able to get in. I will be there but it will be a small crowd. Sunday the 17th is a regular event open to everyone at the OSU lot. Right now weather report looks nice and hot all week and for the weekend.

I might actually have the Laser back out if I put some tags on it, not exactly good for drag but I like it.

That's a 2G MAS, the BOV is being vented, looks to be a 14b(but who knows with dsm turbo housings all being near the same) and even ABS which seems to be a rare option. Pretty clean car that depending on what else is done could make some good hp.

What a waste, you had such a beautiful car and fast car.
