Look into the "Performance Touring" category, they use the TT classing system that works pretty well and gives most any car at an prep level a competitive home, thus more choices of cars to choose from.
The spec classes like E30 can be done relatively cheap I'm told.
Chevy 2500 Duramax Diesel 4x4 for the disaster situation, climb over shit and the diesel power and room to haul shit.
Galant VR4, plenty of power and awd, stealth looks that blend in with the other cars around town to ditch the cops before the chopper gets overhead.
It's only halftime but there have been some hilarious commercials already. What's your favorite? Which did you hate??
So far for me was the 1st commercial of the night where the 2 guys do Paper/rock/scissors for the last bud light.
The worst so far has a thread already started about it; the Chevy HHR commercial. Give me a fucking break, "Guys can't keep their hands off it"!!! I laughed my ass off at this, what the hell was Chevy thinking??
Hmmm, it looked like it was going to be a show about "Future cars", like upcoming prototype's and future automotive technology. I'll have to watch the first episode to see what it's like, I doubt I will like it as with most reality shows.
You can pick up a nice early 90's 5 or 7 series for that much, I recently saw a 740 that looked clean as hell for $6500, and I had looked at a 91 525i for $4k.
The perfect weather is in Hawaii, it's always warm and sunny. In december it's still 75*, the big waves roll in, and you get a monsoon for a few days, thats as bad as it gets!!!
