It's not the same as Gow, it's a different type of shooter. It's not as guided as gow, you can roam a lot more and it has boss type battles at the end of each level and the use of mechs also. If your not sure about it rent it first or play it at a friends. I had played the demo online before and knew I would like the game.

2600hp for under $17,500, sounds like a pretty good deal to me around $6.70 a pony.

I'm moving further into the game now, it's gotten a lot harder. The graphics are badass, the character getting into a mech is buttery smooth and I've finally found some good weapons.

For a man and someone who I thought was an "enthusiast" to make a comment like that I fear for the child your bringing into this world, because that's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I would like to do this finally, but I'm headed to detroit friday and don't think I can spare the extra cash. Plus I'm an old man now and can't be up past my bedtime when I have to be up early!!

What a sweet game, been playing it for a day and it's amazing. The premise is humans are attempting to colonize this frozen planet and discovers a native life form that has a form of thermal energy that can be harnessed. I need to get into the game further to understand the rest of the plot. The graphics are unreal, the snow breaks away and crunches under your feet and the snow looks as real as any game I've ever seen. The fires and smoke from the explosions are very realistic and the structures crumble around you from large impacts like in real life. The way the character moves is excellent and looks very real and jumping into a VS is completely fluid and fast. The animation to the VS(mech) is smooth and again looks realistic as hell. The controls are easy to figure out. Being able to run in one direction and fire and look in any other is very nice and the aiming is easy and spot on. The VS are easy to operate as well. The only complaint so far is the game has been surprisingly easy, I have the difficulty set on the middle setting and I've only died once in the first 2 missions. I'll have to wait and see if the game gets harder. This is a must own for the 360 if you even remotely like shooters!!

My roommate is looking to buy a 6-9 drawer dresser, preferrably a low top in a dark red or black finish. PM if you have something possibly for sale or know someone that has one for sale.

Ouch!! Once he got the turbo spooled that thing took the hell off!! At least he didn't flip it or it catch on fire.

Well, if you had the stock paint I would of said it was normal for an older toyota, they simply didn't have good paint. Sounds like a Maaco job, my turbo laser had been done by maaco and it had runs and overspray also.

My roommate has an Alpine that is ipod capable, the head unit needs to be able to operate something like that, hence the "ipod" capable label. His is an ipod specific plug in.

You've been driving longer than I've been alive!!! I hope I can list off that much racing experience when I'm older, sounds like you've had(and still having) a lot of fun.

I'm on live all the time, havn't played Gears online yet but I do Halo, PGR3, and Rainbow Six Vegas online. I need to get ahold of Black again.
