Right shoulder, so I was about 75% in. Far enough I couldn't see out at all as I was in head first. I actually freaked when they first slid me in and they had to pull me out and give me a minute to calm down, I surprised myself as I've been in tight spaces before and not had trouble but this for some reason freaked me out. The noise didn't bother me at all.

I had radio to listen to, but it doesn't drown out the noise but a long shot. By the end I was semi comfortable, just really freakish at first and then keeping my eyes closed. Adam, it's probably a mixed bag as the noise I'm sure is intimidating but being small probably makes it not too bad a tight space.

I'm sure plenty of people on here have had these before, I just got back from my first one. Talk about the creepiest sounding machine I've ever heard!! Also though I don't consider myself claustrophobic it sure as hell made me tense as fuck being in that tight little space, I had to really focus on being relaxed and keep my eyes closed the whole time. I didn't realize I was going to have to be in there for half an hour too. I hope I never have to have one of those again.....not fun for me at all.

If I had been looking to have people say "good save" I certainly wouldn't have posted about it on CR.

See the thing is in REAL types of motorsports they race in the rain like autocross does, if you ever attended one you'd know that and obviously you never saw my FWD car in action as you'd know that being sideways was a common thing in that car. I also managed driving that on slicks in the rain but surely your an expert on all thses things as you certainly sound like it. Any other monkey including you probably would have wrecked in my situation yesterday.

It doesn't bother me, it's what I expected on here and what's what I enjoy most about this board.

BTW, letting off the throttle completely in that situation can make things worse, sometimes better to maintain the wheelspin or the old saying "when in a spin, 2 feet in".

It's obvious I DO know how to drive in the rain, most people would have lost it in that situation!! I have brand new BFG G-Force Sports, supposedly a decent tire in the rain. Traction control was on but obviously it's slow to respond if it did anything at all. RWD is nothing new to me though I have a lot less experience with it my experience in racing may have saved my ass as the car just snapped out very hard, torque however is not something I'm used to.

Well, I've been told how twitchy these cars can be, while merging on the freeway tonight the back end shot out on me right next to a car, I could barely keep away from the other car and I think he probably shit his pants!! I do have brand new tires on the car and wasn't really on the throttle that much but fuck I didn't think live axle cars were this bad!! I'm sure some others on here have had similiar situations?? On a side note, I was able to do one hell of a stationary donut in my work parking lot doing about 7 full rotations before I stopped!!

You're correct. When my dad had his house robbed the police said areas like his are hot spots and it's because people in neighborhoods like his have nicer shit than someone living in a place like the Hilltop!!

I'm trying to upload some pics to add to my album but it keeps saying "invalid file type". Thing is it's the same file type as my sig pic so what gives??

Don't know if something like that will work for my laptop, I don't see a place to pluug something like that in and I'm still waiting to hear back from microsoft on wether it will still be compatible or not, it looks like regardless the camera won't work with a 64bit system which makes no fucking sense to me.

Found out a couple things..... Vista only works with these on Firewire and the 32bit system, I have no firewire port and a 64bit system. Apparantly Vista doesnt support USB streaming so that eliminated that option. From what it appears I have no ablity to offload my video from my camcorder and am completely shit out of luck.....fucking junk Vista....I had no issues with XP.

I'm trying to offload some video from my Sony camcorder, problem is stupid Vista doesn't recognize my camcorder and I don't have the software cd for it. Am I SOL here? I can't find a driver for it that will get vista to recognize it.

All other events will go on as planned. Cars and coffee would be ok but I want some track time, debating on wether to join some people going to Toledo for a race or going to Putnam Park to work the NASA event.

Due to a scheduling conflict the event in 2 weeks at OSU on May 16th and 17th has been postponed to July 11-12. For those that heard they were trying to get into Cooper Stadium it's not going to happen, I can't understand why but it's a firm no, so it will likely be at OSU.

I love the CCX, it's a monster of a car that throws flames like nobodies business and is as fast as it sounds!!!
