Just a 14.3 @ 96.9mph, 2.1 50ft somehow though I had a lot of wheelspin every pass. Billiumss, I didn't realize that was you, I was just a couple spots ahead of you in the staging lanes. That's a nice clean truck.

Paul, I did drop the air pressure as I had a ton in there but it still spun. The BFG G-Sports aren't very grippy.

4 runs in 1.5hrs and I could have stayed another 1/2 hour for one more run likely. I got down to a 14.3 @ 96mph, spinning and spinning the tires. I had more grip at the OSU lot at autocross last weekend, I thought drag strips were supposed to be grippier than the street for petes sake.

^Meh, nothing wrong with using the Opel chassis, I like the look of the new Astra and always liked the Sky.

I plan on being there early(when the gates open) and hopefully be out early with a couple passes.

I like the current Saturns, hopefully Penske keeps them going.

I didn't figure I would need a helmet but I wasn't sure, I doubt I'll be fast enough to need it but I'll probably bring it anyway.

Any safety requirements? Long pants? Helmet maybe? Last time I thought they still required long pants.

Feffman, he was told directly by Subaru his the brakes on his 09' WRX would work great at the track, hence why he's replacing all the rotors and pads now. Pads aren't the problem though, it's getting the rotors to hold up from pads like those as his S2000's rotors were trashed by carbotechs from all the bite they had. Stock suspension or not I'll be there and have no issues, ridden in a couple stock suspended Stangs and they do well up there for what they are.

What's the cost at Trails?? $15?? What time do the gates open so I can get in quickly?? I havn't been in years to one of these. Phil, it'll be more like 14.9 with me driving.

Yes. He's a bit reluctant to any more track this year because he fried his brakes at Road America but if I come up to do the track I'll bet he would run too, only time will tell for me as I have to wait and see how physical therapy comes out and I can avoid surgery.
