Thanks Rich. I was stoked when the dealer called and said he found the Sonic Blue, it's the ideal color scheme I wanted and the car has realtively low miles. Subframe connecters are on their way, next will be the rear grip pack that replaces the panhard and some things, it's supposed to help out a lot.

Good time today. I liked the track as I could put down the power in a few areas and have some fun, I had hoped the rear would slide a little more but it wants to hop instead!! Time to get some things on the car to help that out.

Yes the Ranger can run. Course is different every time and it's the auxillary lot at Trails so it's mostly grass but the dirt gets dug up quickly if it's wet.

I'm grabbing some Jolly Pirate donuts on the way in......there's no better breakfast.

Since my buddy couldn't go I was actually going to run the Mustang if it were a good hard and dry surface, obviously that's not the case so I will try to make the next event.

Craig, NTR is closed tonight so maybe you can get in then. Lee, the event is free if you join the SCCA, not the website and it's $75. Worth it if you plan on attending several events.

Non-member on-site registration I think is around $48 like he said, it's usually $5-$10 cheaper to sign up online and only $26 for members to sign up online. If you join the SCCA at the event your first event is free. If you plan to register onsite you have to show up early, only 30 spots are available and most of the time all of them are gone by 8am at the latest.

So far so good with the weather, I plan on heading out there around 4:30-5pm. I know it won't be an impressive time but I just want to know what the car will do and it's been a couple years since I've done this.

I will be there, have to leave a little early but I'll get my laps in and be able to work still.

I will be running this at Mid-Ohio for sure, I will use this car like every other and build it for the corners. What convinced me on these cars was Matt(Buckeye Bullitt), he has a superbly built car and I plan on follwing a lot of what he's done. 4.10's are not going to happen, I have to talk to some American Iron class guys to see what they're running but more like a 3.5x to 3.7x or whatevers available. Especially this year the car is my daily until this winter.

I remember tech not being too involved before, especially if you have a car in decent shape. I hope the rain quits by friday but the report keeps changing so who knows, even though I probably won't be happy with my time I still want to know about what I can do.

Chin spolier will happen but not the wheels, I like them and so does everyone else. Next year when it's time to go a lot wider it will, but not for now.

It's a 5 speed Sonic Blue 40th Anniversary with all black interior, 33k on the odometer when I picked it up. Took almost a month to find it as these cars seem to be in demand this time of year and also find one not going for $2k over book like most were. 3.27 rear end, it already has a full intake, throttle body, long tubes, x pipe, and cat-back on it. All I've done so far is add the Mach 1 grille. It's kinda funny as I've always talked shit about these cars and now I own one and fucking love it!! I've gotten tons of compliments on it which was entirely unexpected and even a thumbs down from some random guy but who cares as this thing is just a fun car to drive everyday!!!
