Thats the cat "reggie" that was in my house that burned down last jan 19th , the house burned for 7 hours and then the fire department tore the house down with a huge yellow bucket thing . The whole time I cryed and thought he died a terrible death by burning or smoke. The next day it was negative 15 degrees out and me and family went to dig in the rubble to find his body so I could lay him to rest. 10 hours go buy and No JOKE I find him burried in the rubble 8 feet down, at first I thought he was dead but I could see him shaking and he moved, It took 10 people and a truck to move all the shit out, but finally I moved the last peice of burn drywall next to this couch and he was laying there shaking with ice hanging all over his face looking like fu-man-chu. I grabbed him and stuck him inside my jacket next to my warm skin and put him inside this warm car. If you look he has grey hairs where he had frost bite, his left ear fell off 1/4 way down too from the front bite from the firefighters water hose. They soaked the house forever. Either way we are both here JAN/8/2010 so we are blessed!!!

I could say something bad about almost every vendor on here, from a internet "story" or "someone else " If it personally never happend to me, or from someone close to me , I take it with a grain of salt and keep my mouth closed with out spreading false rumors. Of course since if the shop is "friends " with you they are going to treat you different thats human nature. Like I said before if mike rush puts out bad work he would not be noted as one of the best machines shop's around putting out track proven cars.

I know you are, we only mess with military stuff so cars are really a waste of time if your not in that department. But im sure other car companys with the eco they way it is will battle for a price.

People will always find something wrong with something. My last car a guy never one time told me I did a great job with detail, he said " Why would I have my engine bay painted so nice when its gets all oily" Fucking haters. On this other site im on, someone was picking on me because I bought name brand parts and how they would of done things different? I ended up checking out this guys car it was the biggest POS hack job ever, he was sho cheap he re'used someone else's old timing belt.

That's why he needs to just deal with a company that deals with only cars, companys that do only cars for a living have hundreds of trucks and just do it by mass. Step my game up? Im sure you can find cheaper then 780. Just find a company known for not giving a shit, banging up cars, and not have insurance im sure they will give you a nice quote lol

Your work looks great so far!! I am so happy to see many high quality builds going on around our area. We as import guys really need to step our game up and bring it this season. You car will be in my competion "class" for next season looks like we will have a nice big competitive class with lots of great cars!

Its more then that now, how long ago did you ship it back? In 2004 I used my dad's shipping company and paid around the same you did. That was back when diesel fuel was only $1.80 . I looked at 76 gas station on Sepulveda Blvd & Roscoe Blvd in LA diesel was &3.99 a gallon yesterday. Even if you buy a 20k car from carmax to bring a car back from FL on there "discount" is 1000$ For my dad's truck to go one way to california it cost much more then you paid to have the car shipped back. Thats why you have to find someone that is only dedicated to running cars. Most companys anymore do not even mess with shipping cars back unless they are highlines. Its not even worth it for the trucker to ship it, when they can bring a LTL back to ohio that pays 3 bucks a mile, rather then a car. He needs to start finding independent business that only deals with cars and uses smaller trucks. I can not say this enough make sure they are fully bonded and insured and has a CDL that way you know they are totally covered and bonded. Cars always take a beating being moved with a open trailor. And a lot of companys do not run further east then PA because there is no money to be Made in the North east, Most truck companys refuses to go into the north east, because there is nothing to be pulled out. so after they drop off something in that area they dead pull nothing back and waste hundreds in fuel.

Wow just got done check out the pictures! that is so awesome he kept some of the org stuff, I bet the family that use to own that is very proud of what he did! You can just only imagine what that shop has seen over the years, how many projects have come in and out, old fords from the 30-40's hot rodders from the 50's, mussle car era of the 60-70's and now that rice bucket dsm in 2010 J/k .....either way that is freaken sweet.

I used landstar to ship my car back from california in 04, I used a closed trailor, but they have open too. You better use someone that aleast has a there own equipment and insurance to cover everything.

What kind of issues have you herd about them? Every machine shop has horror storys because no matter what happens something will happen in time.
