  3. I don't get the Scirroco love. I am a huge VW fan, love almost all of their models, but I never understood it. They look wierd to me, corrado looks much better. Love the GLI and Beetle though!!! You on ohiovw.com?

    Hello

Can you post some more pics? You posted every angle but the front end.
  5. A harbor freight thread and clay hasn't chimed in!!!!! I must be dreaming!
  6. Like I said, had it been 70 degrees outside, we would have gone straight through until it was done. Darkness and coldness have a way of making hard jobs suck that much more. I had a great time clay, thanks. PS. Hopefully you love those wrenches as much as I do!!!!
  7. He still needs help!!!!! I was there from 10:45 till 6pm.........almost have the subframe dropped, and from there, only 3 more bolts left in the transmission. Should only be about an hours worth of work left to drop the trans. We obviously ran into some problems, but it was a good time. Thanks Clay, I will find out about that part asap.
  8. Maybe...........where do you have in mind for food before hand?

    STOLEN RING

    Listening now.......great so far!
  10. Already at 280 and in much worse condition. Not sure on the year, but it is the same style as mine. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=158838556
  11. Feel free to do just that. If you can provide me with proof of the same condition gun going for 300, then your claims hold water. The only ones I have seen sell for less than 400 are super rough ones. Hell, all of the ones that are in as good of shape as mine, or NIB, sell for 600-1000. Not a big deal to me, I love the Colt.

  13. All prices are based on comparables on gunbroker or auctionarms. Identical models have gone for much cheaper, but all 3 guns are in EXCELLENT shape. 1. Ruger New Model Single Six with both cylinders: $350 http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4481.jpg It is in EXCELLENT shape, with about 200 rounds through it since I got it from my grandpa. These have gone for as little as $200 in rough shape, to as high as $400 for as new condition. This one is about a 9/10. 2. Colt 38 special Detective Special: $650 http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4464.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4492.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4496.jpg It is in excellent condition, and we have put about 100 rounds through it since I got it from my grandpa. Prices for these guns (1974) go from $350-$800 depending on condition. I would say that this gun is a 9/10. 3. S&W 5906: $500 http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4484.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4486.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4487.jpg It is in great shape, and was my main range gun. We have put about 500 rounds through it since acquiring it. The only wear I found is pictured.
  14. I found them (5906) online going for 350-500 depending on condition.

I still am not used to the schedule, so I appologize for the lack of responses. Give me an hour and I will have all 3 values.

  22. Thinking about selling a few of my guns and wanted to know what some of them are worth, and if there is any interest in them. 1. Ruger New Model Single Six with both cylinders http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4481.jpg Its in great shape, and we have put about 200 rounds through it since I got it from my grandpa. It has a few scratches, but nothing major. 2. Colt 38 special Detective Spec (from preliminary online info, $400-$800) http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4464.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4492.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4496.jpg It is in excellent condition, and we have put about 100 rounds through it since I got it from my grandpa. 3. S&W 5906 http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4484.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4486.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r247/A4SHO/AJB_4487.jpg It is in great shape, and was my main range gun. We have put about 500 rounds through it since acquiring it. The only wear I found is pictured. Just looking for value, and any interest. I priced their values about a year ago, but it was at NASR but had no intention of selling them then, and I can't remember what they said either. thanks guys.
