I love it when people bring up anything other than 1/4 times, dyno sheets or power potential on forums, they usually get flamed. Fact is Audi has been the automotive leader for Interiors for many years, and still is. A Lexus interior is nice, sure, but it isnt an Audi. The materials are nicer, put together better and the ergonomics are better. The fact is, some people buy their cars as a total package, not just for speed. Saying that a GTI isnt the best equiped/constructed car in its class is just ignorant. The interiors are better than a MS3, Si, WRX, Cobalt SS. Its not faster than any but a good race stock for stock to a Si, and some factory freaks are low 14seconds. The fact is, thow 1k at them, chip, and DP, and you can be running high 13s with the best overall car in the group. No it doesnt have AWD, or auto-x like a Si, or run 14.0 stock like MS3 but its the best overall car you can get for the money in this class. There is a reason the car gets such good reviews in every test/comparison they have been in, they are good. And throw in DSG and you have the fastest shifting trans available, and the only dual clutch manual availble currently. The STi and Evo and M3 are all a few months out with their dual clutches, and we will wait to see if they are better than the 5 year old DSG in Audi/VW cars.

I know brice, great guy, did a wheel on my B7 A4 for lease turn in for dirt cheap. Didnt get charged by Audi for it. I highly recommend them.

I thought that was great. It would have been icing on the cake if he had names and descriptions of those dead. I feel like that kind of hurt his credibility a little. Over all good idea, bad execution.

buy certified used, save tons money, and get more warranty. Especially on a daily driver type economy sedan. Makes no sense to buy new in my opinion. They just had a I4 sedan test in one of the pop magazines. Pretty sure C&D, but not sure. Do some research online.

I dont understand why the Big Ten doesnt play their whole conference. Makes no sense. Oh well, as others have stated, we are a powerhouse, just like USC. We will be good for a long time. I would rather go 100times to the championship game and loose than never go at all. 2nd is better than 3rd.

You can get the 4 banger, or the GT has a 3.5L 200hp, 3.9 GTP 240hp, and 3.6L GTP 252hp. My brother has a 3.9 GTP coupe 6 speed manual. I suggest you skip the manual trans in the GTP, its a piece of crap. Horrible linkage, clutch, shifter, every part of shifting sucks. With that being said, the 3.9 and 3.6 have balls. Good for high 14s with an Auto. 4 speed auto in the 3.9 and 6 speed auto in the new 3.6. I would try to get a 3.6 6 speed auto if you can swing the money, but even the 3.5 4 speed is a good package for the price.
