  1. I heard they used 2 - 2jz's for the motor!
  2. Holy shit, this is me to a 'T'. We, uh, should get together.
  3. I printed this thread out and carefully inserted it into my anus. Afterward, I mailed it back in time and read it aloud to this guy while he slept. Sometime later, he started this exact same thread and it stunk like shit.
  4. Nothing for my vin, yet. And this may sound silly to some of you, but be sure some of you aren't using o's where 0's are meant.
  5. Shit, now I gotta go get my VIN#...
  6. As a kid, the only Porsche's I liked were slant nose variants. And I loved those. Now, as I've gotten older, the older Porches 'normal' noses have really grown on me. I believe I've also become more of a purists, too. And to me, the regular nose Porsche with visible lights says "purists" more so than the slant. Not that I still don't like the Slants, but I guess it's like square lights on a Jeep, a 350 in a Supra... Well, I was hoping to have come up with a better analogy at this point, but it didn't happen. Eh, you get the point.
  7. You could turn the car off and back on without starting out so no wheel lock, but you would lose vacuum in your brakes quickly plus this would take longer than some other options. I believe the best way, would be to apply the brakes and come to a stop. Putting it in neutral will, of course, make that easier and you won't have to worry about brake fade.
  8. Yes, this does work. It was recently tested. Maybe, it was Motor Trend or someone else. I forget offhand. It was a test performed recently in light of this whole Toyota recall thing. Maybe, it won't work if you drive an old 5000lb American car with tiny little brakes/drums. I'm not sure about your car, but I could almost bet you could go out and do it right now. I have driven many, many cars for various reasons/jobs, and I can't think of a single time/manufacturer you couldn't throw the car into neutral from drive while in motion.
  9. I agree with you on this. Of course, I know you're "along for the ride" , but in all reality, if they can get it all out, now, it'll save drama, (possibly worse drama), later. I believe, at this point, they've both had enough drama in their lives lately.
  10. Same recall, they're just being more specific. They had already planned this recall regarding the pedals.
  11. Vid was sweet. Some of the CG was amazing.
  12. Just their vaginas. And it's syphillis.
  13. Well, of course, I'll think, what an inconsiderate jerk. But that won't change the fact I was kind enough to help them out. I'm not going to let something like that ruin my mood and I'm not going to base helping others out on that one person. I was walking out of walmart one time and saw a lady with two carts of dvd players. She was having a hard time and I tried helping her out and her paranoid ass actually eluded to the fact I just wanted to run off with a cart. I won't get into details here, but I basically laughed at her and told her sometimes people are just nice. I rewarded myself with feelings of goodness for trying to help AND, of course, not running off with a cart full of dvd players. I don't rely on those I help to reward me for something I should do/choose to do, anyway. It's a reward unto myself.
  14. Invasion? China just does not have the military technology/superiority to fight a war with the US. Then again, there's so damn many of them they could all get in rowboats and row the fuck here.
  15. I want to start my own league, but there's nothing I actually suck at enough to do it.
  16. The blues aren't really much of an upgrade over stock. Combined with your Eibach springs, the shocks probably weren't stiff enough to counter the springs, well, springiness giving you lots of bounce. Shane, you called me last night and I'll tell you again, I personally think the blues are a waste of money and more for looks (though still way better than blown stockies), however, I pm'd you with Kyle's part out link. Take a look. And btw, as I said last night, I previously found Bilstein's for our car for less than $400. Springs for less than $200. Dunno if that's still more than what you're willing to pay, though.
  17. I wave. I always try to be appreciative. Even if I have to squeeze in somewhere, before they can get upset, I wave to them. It would be nice if people were as courteous, but there are many times people don't give me a little wave/thank you for being courteous to them. I try not to get upset, as that sorta defeats the purpose of being kind. You don't do it to be rewarded, you do it out of the kindsness of your own heart.
  18. How many times has this been brought up? It never happens...
  19. Welcome... yeah, that's it. Welcome.
