Used to go to Waffle House in Houston. Great stuff. Waaayyy back in the day, like early 90's, the Waffle House in Houston not only stayed open 24hrs, but would make anything you wanted for you fresh. You would go in, pay less than $10 (around $6 change maybe? Been awhile.) They would bring your first plate of say, eggs and hashbrowns, then, when you were almost done, they would come ask what you wanted next. Let's say, bacon cheeseburger. This would go on until you were full. It was like a fresh buffet you never had to get up for. More recently, we went to the Waffle House in Marysville and was very disappointed.

Equivalent US Golf gets approx. 26 mpg Hybrid Golf - 69mpg Let's say for ease of use, current unleaded is $3/gal. Diesel is $3.35. Let's give the VW a 15gal tank. Now: US VW can go 390mi for $45 Hybrid VW goes 1035mi before fillup for $50.25 So, you're telling me that you're not willing to pay $5.25 more per tank of gas to drive an extra 645mi. Almost 3 times the distance of the US VW for $5 at tank?! How can you not justify it?

Since moving here and being broke, I really don't frequent ebay that much. Those changes suck and that Donahue guy sounds like a real douche. On the other hand, it also sounds like a good time to go bid without as much competition.

Wanting to look into this, too. My eyes are also very light sensitive. For example, working in a very bright office, etc, will lead to severe headaches later in the day. Driving at night, I have night shades I wear to cut down on the glare and excess light. I mean, due to super light absorbtion, I can see rather well in the dark, but throw a flashlight across my eyes, and it's like getting hit in the head or something. Hard to explain. I've heard it's not too hard to get a 'prescription' for tint.
