Drop in filter or a cone replacement. The cone will bump you up in class for sure and I think your mounts will as well but don't quote me on that. Just between you me and the wall you can prolly get away running stock class till you get good.

I'm the MASTER of the DNF. I miss cones like its my job but I have a hell of a lot of fun doing it. This year I won't be wrestling with beaterZ so things will hoepfully go better. Can't wait to see y'all out there.

Since when did SCCA not run Mid-Ohio? They don't hold the runoffs at MO but they still run their normal events.

I've found Sportsmen's Den(in Shelby) to have lower prices on a lot of firearms. Their ammo is a bit more expensive but that's why you got to Fin. Shelby will be a drive for ya but the prices are good and the staff isn't paid on commision. As far as porting on a pistol goes. My CC gun is a 3" .44, I had it ported a couple months ago and it helped quite a bit.
