I'm pretty new to going "fast", does anyone know or have a link to when you need a jacket and or suit and also is any dot/ snell helmet ok or is there a rating that it needs to meet? I see the times and speed for a cage etc but no specifics. Just want to make sure I have what I need and it's correct

Nack in the market for a cheap truck again. Looking to spend no more than $2500. Looking for anything 4 door, standard cab, or ext cab doesnt matter. 2 or 4wd doesnt matter either. Auto or stick. Miles also doesnt matter NEEDS: Run good. No major work needing serviced. ( brakes etc fine but no needs a trans or anything like that.) Not rusted to hell and back, cab corners etc is ok no problem. Looking for something at say 97 or newer. Needs to be full sized no rangers or s10 etc looking at f150 or 1500s or bigger.
