  3. here is the breakdown from our page: "Take to the highway" in a position that will allow you to work in a fast paced, high volume, team-oriented environment. If you enjoy driving and have the qualifications listed below, the Commercial Driver position may be right for you. Responsibilities include: * Adhering to all CarMax policies & procedures as described by "Driver Qualifications" and by the "Drug & Illegal Substance Use & Testing". * Loading vehicles onto a company-supplied asset (flatbed or hydraulic trailer) & properly securing for transport. * Safely transporting vehicles to receiving location & off loading. * Producing appropriate documentation (bill of lading) to support all transportation moves. * Staging delivered vehicles in a lane designated by the Inventory Manager. * Completing bills of lading by having an inventory associate at the receiving location sign for receipt of all vehicles. * Submitting completed bills of lading to manager at the end of each day. * Maintaining the Driver's Log Book at all times to ensure proper compliance with all Dept. of Transportation (DOT) rules & regulations. * Performing a daily inspection of transport vehicle prior to each shift by completing the CarMax Driver's Daily Vehicle Inspection Report. * Maintaining all manufacture's suggested scheduled maintenance as described by owner's manual for the transport vehicle. * Reporting any & all damage to truck or vehicles in tow. * Keeping transport vehicle clean at all times, both the interior & the exterior. Successful Candidates Must Possess: 1. Class "A" Certified Driver's License (CDL). 2. Possess a "clean" driving record with no penalty points deducted by the Dept. of Motor Vehicles. 3. Some experience loading & unloading vehicles onto a hydraulic trailer preferred 4. Flexibility to work overtime as needed & accept change in daily routine as determined by manager. 5. Interpersonal skills that can establish & maintain effective, professional relationships with all related internal customers.
  4. We will be looking for a new driver shortly here. You must Have your CDL license. This is a pretty desirable job so I don't know how fast the position will be filled. Basic breakdown of the job is transporting cars between our two Columbus area locations. You are scheduled a 40 hour work week but if you get the transfer plan done sooner you can leave when you are done Pretty nice for people who have things to get done during the week also.   5. along with looking at ls1tech lol try the regular gm pages where they do their builds etc they like to go into detail on to why they went the ways they did and give a good breakdwon of the other things you can choose and what makes the differences

  9. if its a stick push it downhill and bump start it if it doesnt turn over hop out let the car keep rolling and call it a day lol no sorry man thats weird if everything is in time and you ahve fuel and spark I would say you need to find out why you have low compression and that will be your answer, you ahve two of the three things needed for it to run

  11. I do know how to thats why well now that it is sold I can tell. I bought my a4 for 1750 Sold it for 4250 And now I have a tdi that when it sells hopefully soon I will make a nice amuont on. but this car to me was hard to put a price on because well its 12 going on 13 years old but only ahs 16,000 on the odo so coming from car people and mostly a ls based board here I value the opinion of others on here.
  12. I second wd40 or brake clean is great also. just spill something sweet like kool-aid let them come out and bam kill them all as they are eating there last meal. This same method can be applied to people on death row also

    Ok so It might happen sooner than I originally thought. Might ahve the tdi sold this weekend so i am serching for a GLI in the 6-8k range. If you have one or know someone with one please lmk. needs to be 1.8t and the 6 speed. Also will consider other 1.8t jettas but must be clean and a reasonable price. like I said may need to buy as soon as this weekend thank you

  18. yes I sent you a txt did you not get it? I found out what they ahd info on it but it was not much unfortunetly Il resend you the vin though and see if you can find out anything I didnt. I was also going to call mag etc and see if they may have gotten any service done there at all

  21. Thanks for all the imput guys. I ahve a parts hookup there already but My car was previously sold by them so I was trying to see if they can give me any maint history on the car that was all. Im trying to pull some strings with the people I do know there but Idk how much that will help me. I am not going to be getting the car serviced there lol
