you are just now hearing about the regal??? It will still be a nice car. not as nice as a awd turbo v6 but I am sure it will be a lot cheaper and not near as much maint.

I would get the springs looked at at mag. We replace them all thie time and there are over 40 different combos of springs they put on those cars so sometimes even if it has been fixed once they could put the wrong ones on the car.. Next if you put your hand on the shaft does it have play in it like up and down or anyting??? does it only make the sound when the car is on the ground or up in the air also??? I am willing to bet it is the shaft but you could always have them double check it when you take it in for the springs
