thanks for the supports and advice. I am also considering getting a j-body beater because of winter. I jsut am one of those people who never like to drive things I am not happy/ proud of. Beater or not. but maybe that will change

i know i am picky but I dont want something I wont be happy with. sorry i must have ben confusing the lt1 with that odd front end with the v-6s. and I found three that are what i am looking for. so i know i am loking pretty specifically but they are there its just that not all are online so I was wondering if anyone knew anything that i cant find online. also would be interested in a nice 240 or mustang if anyone knows anyone with one for sale also

well i ofund some good ones just not close to hear. I know they are uncommon but they are around. it would have to be a clean lt1 and the problem is I dont like the body the lt1s came in. I would really be happy with a white 5 speed v-6. but has to have the body with the higher wing and such

I would love to have that car man. I am not trying to low ball at all but I literaly can not spend more than like 5500 max is like 6 no more though. i checked ls1 tech and man they are all like 12k or more and only found 2 in ohio lol. check craigslist and auto trader also already. I found about three that are even worth looking at. thanks for the help guys

i looked at autotrader only 1 green ta with minor damage i saved it and will talk to him tom. but i am pretty much going to be looking all day today and scoping them out/ buying tom.

that is just about the most amazing thing ever. and i think if someone even so much as scratches tha car they should be thrown in jail. But I agree how would you go about trying to get that car street legal? that would be terrible if he could not meet some stupid reqirement for it. and just throwing this out there if you had the money how much do you think this could pull at auction? ( if i built that I would never sell it that would be a waste and not be able to enjoy it. just hypathetically)

you cant be serious. this guy wants me to trade mine for his s-10. almost the same as that but its a 98 and a 5 speed. same color but different wheels. There is no way I would have done that. wait til you ahve to drive in snow man. I hope you got some plans to make that truck better like a v-8 swap ?
