So in trying to move my alternator to the top passenger side I have bought a relocation bracket from ict, the first alternator I had I thought to be a truck 130 amp didn’t not fit as it is suppose to be used with 105amp. So I did just that got a 105 amp alternator from a truck and it did not fit either.
Does anyone know of the ls1 fbody alternator is different as well than the previous 2 I have tried?

Sonata is 28k before rebates and dealer insentives your closer to 21-23 brand new
-
Surprised no one has mentioned it but a Taurus Sho fits your wants very well. Drop it and add a few mods and its a really nice car. I miss my old Sho and haven't ruled out getting another.
Price and mpg rule out a sho, even a awd sel doesn’t get he mpg he is wanting

If you honestly plan to drive 20-30k a year in the car your going to destroy that warranty really quick anyhow and depreciation is going to hit hard. Might as well get a used one that has already taken the new car hit
Warranty is the sole reason I suggested the “ugly” sonata 2.0t because you can’t beat the new car warranty Hyundai offers

Probably wanted to add the amount of driving you plan to do and that your notnlooking for a used car with 80k on it already to help them out

I’m jelly. I’ve been looking HARD at B8 S4s the last couple weeks, but I think I’ve accepted the fact that I really “need” a crew cab truck. Congrats.
Jesus this is my exact life except try looking for the last few months

I actually bumped into Ed today, he said he knows the car inside and out and he can talk pricing with you too. Give him a ring
Thanks everyone for all the help and positive reinforcement on the car. I have been sick the last couple days bit hope to get back into full swing of things here soon and might go check it out later in the week

I saw that S4 there the other day, it's pretty nice. Has an exhaust, they fired it up and it sounds good
just has a ton of miles

Ask for Chip. He is the owner.
Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
perfect thank you

I know they have been recommended on here for service work but does any one have a actual contact there?
They have a S4 for sale that I could be interested in If they are willing to negotiate a little on price and want to know what all the mods are that are done because it just says pulley and giac tune in the details but I can see it also has intake and they say its a stage 2 car.

Check your speed sensors with the tech 2 if you can to see if they read accurately at all times, also don’t quote me but I believe there was also a pcm update like a tsb for the earlier ctsv but I no longer have direct access to check that for you
On those is the wss separate from the hub assembly? If so that is right where I would start

Get at least 4+ people together, find me a dyno, and I will fly down. Not joking! done it twice now. Dallas would be easy since I have fam I would want to visit while I am there.
Difficulty is typically finding a dyno willing to rent per hour/day cheap enough to make it work price wise for everyone.
Is there a Dallas DSM club or similar down there?
Not to jack this thread but since you mentioned it I was always curiosity as to what the hold up would be for someone anywhere to be on a dyno (not street because internet) for you to remote into their computer from wherever you are at and tune based off the files ? Obviously without seeing physically how the car reacts or sounds you are going soupy off the computer charts but seems like that would get you damn close to where you want to be at especially in situations such as this
