Dude this guy runs IFO so give him a break he's trying to make it fare for everyone to race and get a chance at winning some cash. He brings it back every year for us and it's always been a good turnout IMO. Go to Jersey and play with the big boys in the outlaw class and pay $1k to race then complain about $30 entrys. justy saying

I know of a few guys coming up from cincinnatti with some big power cars. I think FWD should be a big turnout this year.

What's the website for more info on this? Are imports aloud or not? I don't care if I'm the only one I just want to make sure I'm aloud before I get fuel and waste my time hauling the car up. Do tickets need to be purchased before hand?

Haven't had a bunch of time to post up on this thing but I've had it out twice to the track trying to dial it in. Had an issue both outings with a boost leak I am pretty sure I figured it out now though we will see this week. Still haven't put hardly any boost to this thing yet due to the issues but this is the best the car has went. Car was at 15-16psi in first and most of second then ramped up to 18-19. third and fourth gear was 21psi. Had a couple small issues with the car but we expected that with everything that was changed. Got it tuned on low boost made 550@ 15psi and 630@ 23psi. Going out as it is to get the short track dialed in before I turn it up. We also only reved the car to 9k on the dyno I can take it to 9500 easy

We are going to be cleaning the car up for a small photoshoot next week and then going to throw rubber all over the side of it friday at the track:cool:

Anyone planning to go to this? it's in lancaster but every year i've been there the fairgrounds is completely packed with cars. mostly older cars, hot rods but starting to get a lot of newer ones over the years. We are taking the civic out to it I didn't know if anyone else on here ever went.

Not sure about cbus area but here in logan sunoco has 100 octane at the pump $6.00 gall. for c16 yes valero is the cheapest place or NTR has it on site.

Well it's going on dyno this week and I need to get new wheel bearings done. We should have it out friday at NTR for some testing. Trying to get some dialing in before summer nationals at englishtown NJ

If it's a rented weekend day it will last a long time so more runs for people anyway. If your there and pay to race at the event then that is people who want to race IMO. When is the car show because I want to take my car?

have you thought about doing a weekend 1 day event. Not just for members but advertise and pass out flyers and such. Get sponsors to throw in money to set up a booth at the event which will help the rental cost and help the sponsors in selling product. I'm not bashing on IFO becuase I love their events but if they can do it then i'm sure letting all cars and setting up certain classes will be a huge hit. I would help organize some of it if you would be willing to do that. Not sure if this year is an option or not but maybe for next year??? I see 100-200 cars at these super small car shows all the time that charge 15bucks entry. If you would hold a car show and charge the same entry you will probably have double the cars considering where it would be held and go around and get local area businesses to sponsor each trophy that way you have no money in that. I mean $15 at even 300 car = $4500. Just a thought this may be the wrong thread to pitch my ideas in though sorry

Got my straightcut gearset in today waiting on diff bolts and a new interlock assembly to put it together hopefully tomorrow if not this weekend. As soon as the tranny gets assembled and bolted up to the motor it's all ready to go back in. Should have on the dyno early to mid next week and we will be out friday night at NTR to do some low low boost passes.

Here are some pics of what I got done at my place over the weekend. I have limited time to work on it since I'm working to get a couple other cars done for import alliance as well but I squeezed some in I really want to get this thing back out on the track. Fixed a few spots on the bay and shaved a couple more holes that I didn't need anymore. Finished the cage and painted it. Don't worry about the white on the sides and roof all the interior panels go back in so didn't waste the paint when I did the car before. you say you have to put on the polishing compound on it still. What is that for or going to do?

Just depends what you define as street legal. Do I drive it on the streets yes. If I got pulled over would it pass an inspection no. It won't be driven but two or three times on the street in a year probably. I still enjoy going to car shows so will drive it to the local ones and if ther is one I really want to go to farther away I will trailer it.

I spent 20 straight hours working on it Tuesday through wedneday getting the cage and bay ready for paint. Also fit up the window net and welded all The brackets on. Should have paint on everything and interior all back in the car by Sunday

by the time I did the parachute mount i didn't want to clutter the back up any more with a cell and it would've been a pain to get fuel in. This fuel cell holds 5.1 gallons and still uses the stock filler.

yeah I'm hoping to be out there in a few weeks. After the car is fully assembled i still have to do all the little touch up like alignment,corner balance,setup suspension,etc.
