I carry a Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops, it was cheap and it does it's job around the shop and whenever I need it. Erica carries the same knife in her purse.

I wouldn't want to watch that....I can see their arguement. Have they had ads with women making out? I can't remember any off hand, if they have then it's pretty hypocritical.
-
I really like this a lot, I like the subtle things they did that gave me flashbacks to the older 2nd gen birds.

I heard they were saying that with the walls around the track it would produce less noise than the freeway it sits next to. (hence the state of the art walls comment) I think it's a fantastic idea, but again we will see what happens. I feel like it will be important to show support for it in anyway we can to help this along. Instead of saying it will never happen.

I like the dedication to take it to paint for the added effect. That's pretty funny.

Craigslist is one that I most frequent, and is a very fast growing site. On top of that it is free. I have not been on autotrader in months, all my shopping is done via Craigslist. Although with a newer car like that you may want to advertise on both sites since Craigslist is free. I don't know if I would be looking on Craigslist if I was looking for a newer car. I would give Craigslist a shot first being free and take it from there then.

It's interesting seeing how people get that much power out of an engine, then when you break down what all has to go into the engine to make it run at those power levels is just crazy. That's still really interesting... I also watched the one video about the warm up procedure, which was neat to see how some of the mechanicals work in the cockpit.

Huh, that's pretty interesting. Not a drag guy here at all obviously...it would be neat to look at one up close.
-
I'll let the people who know me in person be the judge of that, thanks though.

That is great news, I really liked what SAAB was doing in the last few years. I really enjoy their cars, would of hated to see them go.
-
Voted, good luck!

Lolz, speaking of sticking noses where they don't belong.....

So how much fuel do they carry on a run if you figure all the idleing, the burnout and the run?

K thanks, since I totally post in every thread trying to prove someone wrong. Since I have threads started every other day about some drama over nothing that involves me. Since I totally don't show up to CR meets pretty regularly. Since I talk shit about other people's cars all the time. Shall I go on? It's a automotive message board that is 80% personal drama, I like it here and you can hate all you want, but in the end I don't care. I liked the thread that was talking about whether you are really into the car scene anymore and a handful of people that post here all the time admitted they weren't. You don't know me in person, others on here do. So, until that time comes you can continue to think what you want about me. I'll tell ya what, if you want to stalk me in every thread I post and tell me I am wrong, I will totally admit it, I won't try and prove my point unless you have no factual data to back yourself up. Considering I post in threads that I feel like I can contribute to in some way. These drama threads are a joke and if they want to not get posts like these they would wise up and do it via PM. Not put it out in the public eye.

You almost don't have to dick with the suspension. Most of the 911's you will find have been lowered via the Bilstein coilovers a lot of them already have from the factory. They lower them to the European specs since the American specs raise the car up almost an inch to an inch and a half. The 3.2 is a fantastic motor with a great torque curve. It is very common for these motors to leak from the push rod tubes, as well as anywhere else, just depends on what you get almost. Most people that have older air cooled Porsche's maintain them quite well. Records are important especially since most of them are modified in some way, but are very subtle. Common ones are ride height change and exhaust modifications, mainly catalyst delete, and short throw shifters since most 911's when you hit second with a stock shifter and you are short and have the seat up it hits the RF corner of the seat. They are fantastic cars, I have had the opportunity to pilot quite a few different ones and each one brings a smile to your face. We MIGHT have a '86 Carrera Convertible for sale at the shop down the road here, it has a roll cage, racing seats, momo wheel, lowered, short throw, catalyst delete and a chip. I'll be sure to let the Porsche people know if it does indeed come up for sale. Yes it is a street car. The lady that owns it used it for DE's and realized the expenses when it comes to racing a Porsche and she bought a prepped Miata instead.

Maybe, but I sure as fuck don't brag about it and not nearly on the level of most people on here.

You just called yourself a whiner. I enjoy some of the quality posts that get made around here. Most of the ridiculous threads involve the same people over and over again. YOU are included in this group. Call me a whiner all you want, at the least I don't step into every stinking thread and run my mouth about things I know nothing about, or you just know everything, which is typical of arrogant people.

Thanks for posting this, I have seen some video of the car, but never researched it. That's neat how the car is all fiberglass like that.

What happened in here?

So we are supposed to praise him for illegal activity, yeah that sounds about right. I get it now. Thanks for clearing that up for everyone. On a side note, what a face palm thread, why is it the same people ALL THE TIME in these kinds of threads?
