Come and stand next to where I work, all the people next door at charity newsies that would rather buy whoopty wheels and cigarettes and custom license plates, and designer hand bags than pay for clothes for their children. There are plenty of people out there who just plain do not want to work, They would rather be on food stamps and getting government aid so they can afford to buy the above mentioned things. I could not believe it either. Did you watch all the interviews of minorites during the Obama campaign saying "thank God Obama is in office, now I don't have to work"? That is what this health care plan promotes, now the people who don't want to work will be able to get benefits that those who work do. I also agree that people from down south are hard working people, but there are plenty of people who fit in what I have described above.

And the pieces of shit that just don't want to work, but want all the benfits of people that do work.

Look the bill is BS anyways, why did we have to rush this through right during Christmas? Why not wait until right after Christmas? Then why did we bribe a senator to vote for the bill? guy showed up with an old nascar like what AJ is talking about, but he uses it as a DE car. We saw it at Nelson Ledges, it ran in our practice session for the 24 hour race (not the lemons race) and it was bad ass. As for making it streetable, suspension ride is up to your tastes, interior is up to your tastes, new tires, and anything else to make it street legal that isn't already on the car. If you buy an old enduro car it should already have lights and wipers, etc...

Here is my .02.... More of my friends have a 360 so that was a huge influence since those are the people I enjoy gaming with the most. I have has PS1 and PS2 and switched to 360 after playing Forza 2 and being tired of waiting for GT5 to come out. I am intending on getting a PS3 down the road after GT5 comes out since I still love the GT series.

I'm surprised it's not going to be auctioned at Barrett Jackson, nor is it a feature car for the auction that it is being auctioned at. It's a neat car and hopefully it will go to a museum of some sort for everyone to enjoy.

That is absurd, are you kidding me. Why would anyone want to spend more for what they purchase? Paying your card each month is the best thing to do for your own being. Screw how it helps the company get richer, why waste your money? I agree totally with what Beer30 is saying, not saying his facts are 100% correct, but the interest rate does not matter if you pay your shit off. You cannot tell me that someone that has to pay monthly on multiple credit cards carrying a balance at 50% of it's limit has a better credit score than someone that pays off their entire bill each month. If you disagree I could kindly point you in the direction of some people aka my parents who have NEVER carried a credit card bill and use them quite frequently.

I really like the ties to it's roots, at least it doesn't look like everything else like most cars that have been released lately. Needs manual option....like a stick that moves forward, backward, and side to side.

It's hardly a BMW anymore, if it was a stock-ish body BMW then I could see it, but that is a drag chassis w/ some body work to look like a BMW.

I service a '07 ish MS3 and I have been super impressed with the car. It is super comfortable, puts down plenty of power for a daily, and maintenance has been at a minimum other than scheduled services and tires. My only gripe as usual is that it drives the wrong wheels....

QFT, since I would think you would want to give the SHOP that built the car some credit....not yourself Hal, I think you are looking to get a god deal on one of these b/c you are able to do all the work yourself for the most part? If so, pending your plans for this car, I would look for one that is totally blown and does not run/hardly runs. Again I am ASSUMING your intentions here...

Yeah the R6's are street legal, useless if it's raining, but they have one groove around the tire that gives them the DOT approval. Jeremy Clarkson determined that the Radical was a useless car on the street because of it's ground clearance, sure it's street legal, but no one would want to drive one on the street. It's a fast time for a car that anyone can go out and buy in that trim.....neat car none the less.

Whats wrong with helping someone who knows nothing about cars sell a car that appeals to people who are actually into cars? I can sell up to 5 cars a year without being a dealer and that is only if the title is in my name. Again, I am not the owner therefore it does not go against my number of cars sold in one year, therefore I am not inviolation of not having a dealer license. As for barking up the wrong tree it's all idle threats and shit talk to me.....I once again pose the question, who are you to tear apart people's cars? I did read what he said....he has some ideas as to what is on the car, but is not sure then you started playing 50 questions about it then started trashing him for not knowing....it's an auction car. Who gives a shit how he funded it? He isn't here asking you guys how in debt you are, or how you pay for things. He took some pictures of his fucking cool ass car and posted them here for us to look at. Not to grill him on the mods.....it's an auction car, most likely he got a hell of a deal on it so he bought it. This is how car auctions work, they are practically sight unseen. You can't take the car to have it inspected, you can't question the previous owner, most of the time you can't drive them. It's the risk you take and sometimes you get a great deal and this looks to be one of them. Get over yourselves and think about it. My God, you can get fast cars for good deals you know? You don't always have to buy a stocker and spend half your life's savings modifying it at another shop....sure you have the reassurance of knowing who did the work and what was done, but hey there are other ways. And as usual the self pronounced keeper's of the fast cars encyclopedia are the first to ask 20 questions and get pissed when they can't be answered.
