  1. Yeah lol, I need to update the pictures. The bronze wheels are on the white car now and the white car sits like the red car due to the suspension interchange
  2. Going to start the research process with her uncle. I found it hard to believe that there would be no documentation on the car anywhere in her family. Fortunately due to the nature of Pantera's "generally" speaking the people that buy them are not wannabe high class people that buy the latest and greatest super car. They tend to be bought more by people who care for them and know what they are. Yes, they are expensive, but I think being able to interact with the car and keep an eye on where it goes will be of help down the road.
  3. De Tomaso count anyone...?? This is Erica btw...oops
  4. You were sitting in traffic like a car back over my left shoulder. I recognized your plate. I was sitting in front of the Red GT500.
  5. I shot like 1 or 2 I'll get some up at some point...Erica and I went early. How many Pantera's showed up later in the day? We saw 1 white one pulling in as we were leaving. I really liked the old white Mach 1 that was like the "showroom restoration" car. I mean everything was "factory correct". The way they over sprayed some parts, had parts marked "ok" and all the parts looked to be original manufacturer parts you would find on a 0 mile car. Little anal, but neat to see.
  6. They use them at the Arthritis Foundation show, if you can't get a solid lead here, perhaps finding a way to contact the organizers of that show may help. Otherwise I wouldn't really know where to look.

    tonight

would like to meet up, just say when and where...
  10. Welcome aboard Robert. Lookin' good as usual.
  11. Pulling an engine in the AM, I am a no show.
  12. Bump, if you think your offer is to low for the public PM me, I hate it when people are afraid to make and offer. Just shoot it to me in a PM, worst I can say is no, and I promise I'm not going to rheem you and call you names. Lot's of people wanted the VIN, then never got back to me, had a couple no shows. So, it's still here!
  13. If it were me I would want to build something the way I want it built and to my liking. Every once and awhile you stumble across something that is just done "right". If this fits your criteria, it is of course easier to pick up a car that is already sorted out and built and it looks like you are lucky enough to have found someone possibly in your same shoes, but wanting change. I'd say go for it if it fits your standards of what YOU want, not what other people think.
  14. Nice car, love these in black. Welcome!
  15. Much better, welcome to CR and congrats on your MR2 purchase. I am a huge fan obviously. If you get a chance toss up a couple pics of the 2 or better yet it would be cool to see in person!
  16. I have a single exit cat back sitting in the shed behind work that I believe would work on your car. I know for sure I have the axle back, but would have to check for sure. I'm pretty sure it's like a 2.5-3" and I want to say it's a Magnaflow or something. I will get details tomm. when I am at work. Probably would let it go for $75 if you NEED one and want to settle for a single exit...
  17. Too the OP Funny you can sit here and make that observation. Kinda easy to start a 1 sided arguement since there isn't a way to see how much time the lurkers browse the board and don't say a word....."just sayin" I feel no need to defend myself, nor should anyone else, people are on this board for so many reasons. Yes, a majority participate in a form of racing, or they don't have time because they are too busy keeping everyone elses race cars alive..... Kinda ballsy to make an accusation without considering any cirumstances...
  18. When I got to go to DC we were there for 1 day and I felt sorta rushed, didn't get to hit any of the museums. But we did have enough time to see the monuments. If you have NEVER been, may want to stick with 2 days if you are a sight see-er. If you have been once or twice I would think 1 day would suffice to re-visit the places you enjoyed/want to spend a little more time at. Another thought is that pending tourism seasons I would think a Saturday would be really busy at DC, I want to say we were there like on a Wed or Thurs. because it was mostly older folks and less tour buses of small children.
  19. Welcome aboard, looks like some excellent work.
  20. Damn, thats crazy that they were able to nab that thing, had to have a key I would think. I'll keep it in mind.
  21. +1 thats fantastic work. Still wonder how the car can operate, but I would be pleasantly surprised if the car was driven to the show.
