  1. Step 1. Call MAG and verify if the diagnostic fee will or won't be waived. You can try bitching about it if they say no and see if the will waive it. Step 2. Decide where to get car fix. Step 3. Drive Car again.
  2. I believe the diversity of credit is the type of credit (revolving, installment & open accounts), not the quantity of the same kind of credit. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. 804 is great so you're definitely doing it right. 800+ is considered Excellent so Coaster has a point. There's no FICO level above Excellent.
  3. I guess I'm confused by your statement of building it up in the next few months in the first post and your last post of worrying more about the long term. Credit Cards aren't stocks, you don't need to diversify how you can have potential debt. With that said, I just don't see store credit cards as a good financial option. They generally have higher rates and only store specific perks. I would do what you posted towards the end and what Clay said about consolidating the number of cards and raising the limit on the ones you keep.
  4. Bad idea. Having the inquiry to open the credit will take down your score instantly and take months to go back up. And you already have credit cards so they're not worth it. The less inquires before you apply for the home loan the better. and +1 for Clay's post
  5. In your side shots in the other thread the red w/ chrome wheels look great. From the the front it just seems a little off. Like the front needs some chrome accent or the wheels need to be black.
  6. KBB has it at $21,600 w/ premium sound and handling package. If I loved it (and wanted Yellow) I'd go $24k max. But it's also a 15 year old car that has probably been driven hard most of and/or sat a lot in those 11,600 miles.

    Costco FTW!

no fleet, just a '12 escape and a '04 Mazda 6 wagon. Not the best records but not terrible. Most of the savings really came with Home Owners insurance but both policies are exactly identical to what I had with Farmer's except for a lower deductable for auto. Will be paying $413/ 6 months for Auto.

    Costco FTW!

I like these ideas. I don't qualify for USAA but have only heard great things. If I qualified I probably would use them. All insurance companies seem to suck (especially Nationwide) so I figure I might as well pay the least amount I can before I get dicked.
  9. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I don't think my wife would drive it though.

    Costco FTW!

So being a Costco member is great for what they have in the store, not so great for the random junk mail you get about their other services. But since I'm always looking for ways to be cheap I decided to get a Home & Auto insurance quote from Ameriprise thru Costco. It's was cheaper of course. About $95 dollars a month cheaper than the same coverage as Farmer's with lower deductibles. :fuckyeah: If you're a Costco member, it's definitely worth checking out. Now what to do with the extra $95 a month?
  11. Needs more windows. Anything less than 23 isn't worth it.
  12. Congrats! it truly is the never ending project.

Nothing compared to Lawrence Phillips. At least Leaf didn't choke his cell mate to death.

When the front office is only Mike Brown, it's hard to take the owner down. I'm not disagreeing with you as a whole but on the field, he wasn't the worst. Off the field, definitely one of the worst if not the worst. The Boz comes to mind also.

    CR Stock Watch

I'm mostly looking long-term, but would sell on a nice gain should anything rocket up. F - (Ford) it's been under $12 for a little while and has a 5%+ yield and a solid product line-up ROX - www.castlebrandsinc.com Looking at for a possible super small long-term investment. I like Jefferson's Bourbon PSG - Performance Sports Group Major player in Hockey Equipment owning the #1 (Bauer) brand and just acquired the #3 Brand (Easton Hockey), Also owns Easton Baseball, and has a couple lacrosse brands which the sport has seen a lot of growth. Small long-term investment. Also watching oil stocks, BP, RDS.A & .B, XOM to name a few. Not sure what's gonna happen first, Dividend decreases or oil price increase. Don't have a favorite from the group yet. I was watching VZ down at $45 but it's back to $50+ where it just seems to hang out.
  22. I would like a spot saved for me, not sure if the family would want to join. I'll know by tonight.
