  1. TBI might just be temporary, but it's simple (and cheap) enough that it made sense for the short term. The truck won't be fast anytime soon and I'm cool with that
  2. The sig is a little misleading lol. The 350 swap has yet to be completed. It's a '91 longbed, 2WD, 4.3L (blown up) with a 5-speed. I love this truck. Please excuse the rust... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c295/skoval25/2010-06-20125230.jpg The 4.3 finally bit the dust, so I bought a TBI 350 to replace it. I have slowly begun taking it apart, and as soon as the weather gets warm the 350 will be going in. I have all the parts except for an ECU, so it should be up and running this spring
  3. Pretty much. And I'm sure that this is all you got..
  4. mjrsplat, I have a stock Camaro with headers. Come get you some
  5. Yeah I've "given it a shot" for years lol. I was obsessed with Nascar when I was a kid and still follow it and watch it occasionally. I just miss the days when ESPN and TNN did the races
  6. I lied, I'm watching (for now at least). Nascar was so much better when ESPN did the broadcasts. Fuck FOX and their annoying bullshit. If they show that damn groundhog (or whatever the fuck it is) again, I might kill something
  7. Go Gordon! Hendrick Motorsports FTW But no, I won't be watching it
  8. Definitely. It does seem to improve every year, but still has very limited coverage out in the country. When I'm driving through areas like Bellefontaine, Mansfield, Portsmouth, etc. I rarely have any coverage whatsoever. In other news, I just got a G2 for free, and this thing is sweet! Thanks again noleafclover
  9. Oh and thank you noleafclover for making this thread. Looks like it's the perfect time to upgrade from my G1
  10. T-Mobile has awesome customer service. I've had them for years, and no complaints except... This is true.
  11. already covered... The point of this thread was not to find out what the best shock is. I've been a member on tech for years and I'm on there every day. I know what the majority of the guys on tech have on their cars, and now I'm asking what the guys on CR have. Yeah, Sam is a smart guy, and very helpful.
  12. From what I've read, lowering the car on stock shocks will ride like shit, especially as time goes on. The stock DeCarbon shocks aren't very good anyway, so everyone recommends replacing them regardless of what springs you get. An adjustable panhard bar will also be a good idea so you keep the rear end centered. LCA relocation brackets are recommended, but not necessary. Although if you're going to upgrade to aftermarket LCA's you might as well get the brackets
  13. Yeah I've read like 500 similar threads on tech, just looking for more opinions. Everyone on there has a hard on for koni's but I don't have that kind of money. In particular I am trying to decide on a certain shock for the drop I want. Good to hear, that's the combo I was planning on
  14. actually, MTV has some queer ass show called Skins or something faggoty like that, and THAT is the worst show ever. I watched the first episode (who the fuck knows why, I'm a moron apparently) and it made me want to kill a baby seal. Now every time I see a preview for that gayness, I seizure violently and break things. WORST SHOW EVER.
  15. +1 Despite the fact they are FWD and automatic, they are pretty sweet dailys. I miss mine
  16. What springs/shocks did you go with? I'm referring to 4th gens.
  17. Nice! Pretty damn accurate, especially for a 3rd string QB at UConn
  18. Looks sweet, but I'm not sure how I feel about the nose. And no manual? :gay:
  19. Looks/sounds awesome, I love the front end. Hate the wheels though
