When CMS closed down, it was still popular and profitable despite the poor location. The family sold the track to Obetz because they wanted to retire, it was a good offer and their kids didn’t want to run the place. It didn’t get bulldozed because nobody was showing up. Why didn’t the Cooper project happen? Because a bunch of mouth breathers wouldn’t like the “noise” on Saturday nights? Who gives a shit? It’s downtown Columbus, not the fucking Hamptons. Anything they build there will only HELP the area. Cooper Stadium has sat empty for a decade now, half torn down, looking like a dump. Columbus has a scarcity of motorsports related activity, for the most part. If they would build something, I see no reason why it wouldn’t be a success. Maybe I'm just naive?

What the hell are they doing with Cooper Stadium? What happened to the race track proposal? Why hasn't there been any talk of a suitable replacement for Columbus Motor Speedway?

Yes. My brother did all the bodywork there for several years, but he got out of the industry a few years back. I don't know who all is still working there, but I know Rob Judson is the name of the guy that runs the place and I know for sure he's still there. There were some good people who worked there, and they do just about everything from bodywork/paint to alignments to basic repairs to engine swaps, etc. I haven't used them in years so I can't say what they are like now, but I never had a problem.

Always look the car over after you have it at a tire shop. Always. I've found directional tires installed backwards, centercaps missing, valve stem caps missing, scratches on wheels, etc. It's a lot easier to get resolved if you catch it before you leave

NFL officiating is pure garbage. It’s not just against the Browns, it’s every NFL game I’ve seen over the past few years and it’s progressively getting worse. So many blown calls, non-calls, excessive calls, etc. Constant delays because they don’t know what they are doing or can’t figure stuff out. Even after replay reviews they can’t get the calls right. It needs to be fixed immediately because the refs are ruining the game. If I didn’t love football so much, I would just stop watching altogether. When will the officials start being held accountable for their mistakes? When will the NFL realize that the officiating has steadily declined to the point where several games are decided by the refs? Penalties are at an all time high and it’s manipulating the outcome of the games. Officials are blowing calls left and right that have a HUGE impact on the result of the game. When will the league decide enough is enough and do something about it?

I wrestled with this for a while. Yeah, I definitely think you can do it. If you haven't messed with tint before, try it with cheap tint the first time so you don't ruin the expensive stuff if you mess up. Trucks like ours are really simple, but after going back and forth about it I eventually just said F it and paid a shop to do it.
