I was thinking an upset early and a bowl game loss after winning the Big 10... good call.

Of course its the dems, but the school shooting is going to be the edge needed to get something passed. Republicans have to be careful being pro assault rifle right now. Without them being 100% in our corner its going to be a tough one. No one is sure what it is but I bet we are going to lose something. I'm ok with it being the magazines.. I'll just have to reload more. I'll take that over not being able to buy rifles any day. We can only hope it starts to lose steam somehow and soon.

My off the wall opinion... Rifle style weapons with high capacity mags are fun hobbies for the average owner. There are very few situations where they would grab an M16 over a handgun for home defense. On the other hand if a group were to say... rise against the government... these would be the type of weapons they would choose when defending their rights. At a time when people are very open about not liking the government, they are aware the people are armed. Every post on the internet about hating the government, and rising up against them cant be helping your chances of reaching the outcome you want. If I knew I could be the target of a civil war at some point I would want to disarm as many people as I could on the other side. You may think its fun to talk about hating Obama and loving your guns enough to go to jail/die for them.. but you may be causing your own problems.

With Ohio State you have to remember the x factor. I saw some really good coaching this year. I didnt find myself trying to play armchair coach nearly as much. Phil said games were close were we should have blown people out, this team was not good enough to expect blow outs. A good coach on the other side of the field had plenty of gaps in the depth chart to exploit. When I saw it happening I was more like its about time instead of being shocked by it. Now that hes filling in those gaps I see a great team being made in the next 2 -3 years... and maybe even this year with some luck. I can see a number 2 to or 3 ranking to start, but see them at 12-2 and ranked 7th by the end of the season.

We have had people selling things that dont work, were stolen from others, etc. When I get a pm saying a guy is selling a car for 20k thats got known issues that were lied about or not mentioned we take action.

If you think people are trying to rob or take advantage of members tell an admin. Its buyer beware to a point but we help where we can.

Legal action is the only way to stop these crooks. They are on the books as a profitable company but are not properly maintaining their network. Putting that additional cost back on paying customers rather than insurance or better planning is enough to get something started. My guess is an investigation into the changes made after the last few events would not be good for them. Either they did plan and are holding onto the money, or they didnt plan because they know they have us as an insurance policy.
