Oh, and bring your money.
-
Got us practice time at sports Ohio at 3pm sunday. Come ready to go... we are going full go with warm ups, drills, and a scrimmage to determine positions and rotation. It just got real.... "THAT JUST HAPPENED!!"
-
No doubt. He's good but still young. Once he gets done trying to prove himself to everyone and settles in consistently he'll be cool.
-
Practice may be at sports ohio. Ill keep everyone posted. No meet thurday, we'll do it all Sunday.

I take back what I said. Tressel has no choice but to play this way to stop Pryor from losing the game. Its not the coach its the quarterback. Looking at the loses its bad executuion on good plays that force hhim to be conserative.
-
If he shows up then that puts us at 13 and we would defintely have to do a lot of subing. Fresh legs ftw! No excuses not to run full speed every play when you know after a series or two you can rest. 3yrd bump and run with Phil blitzing is going to mess them up bad. I'm scoring on at least 2 interceptions per game.
-
Are you a real fan if you dont expect to win a national championship with a team thats ranked in the top 10 every damn year? Tressel is one of the bests coaches out there so there is no reason to get rid of him. He just needs a slight adjustment during adverse situations.

We cant make squads just yet. Still have some people we havnt seen play yet. Looks perfect to start with though. Also... I vote we close registrations on the team, 12 is enough. If we keep it up we are going to have to share too much play time. List so far: Ice Brandon Brian (paid) Phil Steve Darren Dave (paid) Keith Leigh Duff (paid) 6'7'' dude Jontae

Yeah you have to have signals. Even if its just some for take offs and slants you have to have them. It will end up being at least 6 different hand signals. 4 that are legit and 2 that mean nothing but are there just to keep them guessing.. "he just tapped his left buttcheek, I think thats a skinny post" Forget waiting until we are losing. We are doing at least one trick play ever posession! Reverse, flea flicker, hook and latteral, wide receiver pass back to the qb. I want them to have to enforce the mercy rule every game! Note: I will say one more time though that everyone is paying so everyone is playing. It would be horrible to have someone pay and sit the bench for half the game. We can ask you to play a position, but you still have a say in it. If you hate defense let the group know and we will work it out. Dont come at us in game 4 saying you hate playing receiver ya know... In the first half on offense we should just change out every 2 series. With this many people it will almost be like an a team and a b team. In the 2nd half we'll switch it up and mix up the two groups of 5 to make it work so that we win. The last 12 minutes the best O and D will be out there. If along the way one of the groups gets momentum we'll just stay with them a little longer to pad the lead and the other group can sub in on defence. Same with d.. if a group is locking down someone we will sub in the others on offense. Yeah we definitely need to have like a 60 minute sit down and get this ironed out...

Shut up "See, the quarter backs job is to throw the ball... now with the ball being in the air its the recievers job to catch it. If they dont catch it then its not a catch." /johnmadden

Hell yes bring him. Phil can have D as long as he doesnt screw up Everyone on the team will be playing wide receiver unless they choose not to. Some will play offense more than others but to keep fresh legs everyone needs to contribute on offense. Defense is different because you can go zone if you need to rest. I'll let Phil take care of the subs on defense. This way its only one voice. We have 20 seconds huddles. The QB will give a primary receiver their route. The other two receivers will tell the QB their routes. One person will always block and peel off as an outlet if needed. Reverses, run plays, formation etc will be determined on the fly based on the game. The scheme I'm looking at for offense is a pro set formation with the QB and running back (both being interchangible which is why its a proset and not a shotgun) standing beside each other. This way the ball can be direct snapped for a run or to a qb for option plays, passes, qb eligible plays, etc. It worked well on my last ff team until we lost in the finals to what seemed like NFL all stars lol. Taking away the hand off piece makes it faster and if both can throw the defense will have to respect it. We will go through it in more detail and get everyones take. Is anyone free at 8pm on Thursday to talk through some of this?

Next Sunday I'm leaving the kids behind so we can get an idea of what we are going to do with plays and what not. I'm going to pay the deposit and see about getting access to the field at sports ohio for an hour or two. I'll keep everyone posted. P.S. I lost the rest of that toenail....

Wear long sleeve shirts children.. its a titty bit niply

I agree with both statements. The game was lost in the first half. He made some good adjustments at half time but it was too late. This is when his playbook is almost good enough to bring you back but you need some ace in the holes for a quick 6 and the momentum back. He let them keep the momentum while he stuck to his game plan for way too damn long. Do something early to give Pryor confidence, quiet the crowd down, and help them score before Wisconsin put up 21 points. Even if it doesnt work it will be in the back of the other coaches mind and make them rethink just how predictable Tressel is. It was a well coached half but not a well coached game. We seriously need to do something with this special teams. They suck and put the coaching staff/team in a hostile situation. Take away that score and its a different game.
-
They can, just not with the kind of plays he calls...
-
He's coaching a pretty good half.. too bad he didnt coach a good game overall. Took the first half off
-
If ypou are going to lose do it early in the season and to a ranked team... With that being said they better not lose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hells yeah!

In for tomorrow at 3pm... Brian - RB/CB Leigh - TBD Phil - WR/DL Steve -QB/DL Dave - QB/FS Ice - WR/CB Chris - WR/CB Duff - WR/CB Possibly Brandon - WR/CB Phils friends My backup crew (4 teenagers) Keith has a wedding - TBD We have enough for a definite 6 on 6... maybe 7 on 7 game. Please dont forget to bring your $60 if you have it. There is no rush as we have until the 31st, but I want to get the ball rolling. There are still 3 open spots if anyone is interested.

<--- Giving Tressel credit for a good game plan coming into the second half. Working within the strength of the offense while adjusting perfectly so far on defense.
-
In before clouded judgement having Ohio State fans come in and make excuses. Being a Buckeye fan of sound mind and body I can say coaching will have to win this game... Will Tressel stand up to the challenge or fail miserably????

To deform a bullet the outside force has to be able to push back with enough force to compromise the outside structure. If the ice is giving enough or if it skips off of it then it is possible to still be intact without marks. I'm skepticle because the angle needed to prevent damage to the bullet would result in the bullet being too far away to be able to find it. Bullets just dont bounce off of ice and land 5 feet to the left.
