Nope it always starts right up. Last week it would only drop to 35 PSI... cycled the key this morning and it dropped to 0 quickly.

I guess I could also go with a dual pump setup since I already have two walbros. Scott, what kind of fuel pump are you running?

You know what... your right. I read last year that the oe regulator is suppose to keep fuel in the lines to be more environmentally friendly on start up.

Pm me total cost. I have cash in hand and need this thing running before the track day. Hal its cool. I know you have work and all. Im still gonna need you for the cam swap after this is fixed.

Thats the issue. My fuel pressure is not suppose to fluctuate more than 2 (if its working right) but under load it drops to 50. Last time on the dyno timing retarded itself by 2 degrees because of the lack of fuel. The issue is definitely not in my head. Ask Lasota, it should not be dropping off that much. We had this same issue that came and went right before I killed my 3rd transmission. Also if it was due to fluctuation it would go back up after dropping. it drops and stays. I think you were right in saying the regulator is shot.

I need a real voltage meter. I'm not sure if my little cheap auto zone one is giving accurate information. If anyone has one I can borrow or if anyone wants to swing by I'll be home most of the day. When I had that power surge the fuel pressure held fine for the rest of that night. I'm thinking there is an issue with the wiring.
