1968 Chevrolet Nova, original 350/350 car,not an SS. Runs and drives great, getting completely redone over the winter. We have a couple other older cars, a 72 olds vert, 75 pontiac vert and a 48 hudson commodore.

From what ive heard on the 7m motors is you have to torque the head bolts every once in awhile to keep it from blowing a headgasket. probably wouldnt be a bad idea to just replace them with arp studs tho. Ive heard of 20+ psi on a fairly stock motor.

I was pricing putting together my own kit, saw this and figured it would be better. I dont know a whole lot about turbos yet, so i really appreciate your guys input. Ryan, itll be alright. Just let it happen =P

yea im seriously thinking about it. Wouldnt be operational till next spring because im redoing the whole car over the winter. all new interior and a few body panels and its getting a fresh paint job. If i did go with a turbo setup im going to go with an all forged internal 383 with aluminum heads and possibly fuel injection. thinking about maybe the holley commander setup or the GM ramjet.

IDK, it seems like a good price for the setup. maybe replace a few of the parts with better ones later on to be safe?

My nova may not be a mint condition show car, but it is by far not a rustbucket or a peice of shit. I havent even had it that long anyways, restorations take longer than 4 months. I by no means live off of my father, i have a very good job making my own money and i pay for all my shit myself.
