I need the upper dash pad, 93-96. and also the shift plate and boot for a 5/6 speed console. 93-97. dont care too much if the dash pad is cracked as long as it isnt horrible or broken in half. thanks

78 monte carlo, its recently been painted red kind of a backyard job but it looks decent. 350, holley intake/edelbrock carb. chrome valve covers, sounds like it may have mild cam. LT headers, hpipe with duals out the sides. TCI th350 trans w/shift kit. thinking it has the stock rear. has some cragar wheels on it. t-tops, bucket seats with console and console shifter. body seems to be pretty straight, has some rust on PS fender lip and bottom of rear quarters. runs good, could use a tune up and maybe some timing/carb adjustments. i would call it a project car, its in pretty decent shape though for a 78. looking to get $1500 obo. consider trades. ill try to get some pics up this weekend. you can call me after 6:00pm (614)452-0547

we sell this gumout engine flush stuff, we put it in in place of the oil with a new filter and run for 5 minutes. its supposed to clean the shit out of your engine. wouldnt that be about the same as the seal problems when switching to synth? but weve never had a car come back with new leaks after the flush. also has anyone noticed when you buy a new cam, it says somewhere in there that your not supposed to use synth for the first 100 miles or so?

so sounds like amsoil is the best. sux we used to sell it at my shop but we dont anymore. what grades are best for v8's with no internal mods? i change my oil about every 1000-1500 miles just because its free and i can do it from my pit at work.

im looking for opinions on synthetic and conventional oils. is synthetic really better? do alot of people on here use it and have you seen a difference? And what about brands? i work for pennzoil but ive never really been able to do any comparisons.

well, its a truck with a big v-8 but it is efi so its not horrible. it has a huge tank tho.

i drive it everyday exactly how it is but wouldnt take much to fix body. it does have some rust but not a lot. some of it was patched up on rear fenderwells. it is an automatic w/ od.
