  1. 30s. That's typically a good time for such shots. Low noise, little rotational movement/blur yet good exposure. Hats off to more excellent work man.
  2. ^^ this. Nice work! Sorry I missed it and the QSL lunch. Was in NYC for a little R&R with the family.
  3. Congrats Brian! Glad all the work paid off.
  4. Have read much of the thread but I'll take this one 3" high in light grey. Looks good. Just the lettering not the background. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160413/fe64df0efe9feb9368e5e4e234b251d1.jpg I'd put that on the small side window just behind the rear doors. 5. Take it back to stock, sell it and enjoy the two you have now. Lleave the decision until next year while you recover the money put out for it.
  6. He did as of last August. I just saw him at Shell on Sawmill too.
  7. Schreck is the man! Glad it all worked out. I had a nice vertical crease in my car during the first week I owned it. Was bummed as it was close to the edge. He had the car for about 3 minutes including driving into the garage.
  8. Friend just took delivery of a new to him S4 and has aftermarket summer wheels. Derek's crew said two of them are bent but they should be able to balance them out okay. If not, where is the best place to take them for repair? Still Wheel Medic or have you guys found anyone better / instead of them? I used them years ago but assume they are still solid. Thoughts?
  9. I have money on the window. We had a leak in the side window off our master several years back that I noticed because the water made its way into my garage. Pulled the window out and reset-sealed it as it and viola, done.
  10. Would be in but I'll be in NYC enjoying some nice weather there. Hopefully some good times in central park. Enjoy!
  11. Moron is a bit tough on yourself. We've all done shit we regretted along those same lines. Sadly I know the last time I did it won't be the last too.....
  12. ^^ this. I was just showing someone this weekend as I went over to help them on their new car and when the pulled out the ramps I said "I'll be right back"
  13. WOW! Beautiful! Keeping the Audi too?
  14. haha! I know Dale well. Good guy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
  15. What's his name. I sold cars there in college as my parents knew Tom Gill from their dealerships.
  16. Coldplay is coming in July and I want to score 2-4 awesome tickets for my son and some friends to go for his birthday. Pre-sale tickets and connections always seem to get the really good ones but I'm hoping I can find a connection somewhere. Thanks!
  17. Gotcha. Works great as a streak free drying aid. The added lubricity is most certainly felt and on black, that's key. I also like that it leaves the surface very slick like a detail spray. The big advantage is that it doesn't seem to attack dust or pollen. I can drive down the street after using detail spray and I'll find blades of grass from the weekend yard care crews clinging to the doors. Not the case with Uber.
  18. No thanks. I'll stick to beer I have already and enjoy pussy any number of the regular ways.
  19. Haha! I have. I like his vids but like Chem Guys, he takes forever and a year to sum up things. 20 minutes on how to clean your windows....in a video! I have short attention span theater syndrome. The wet drying is why I like the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless product. You can dampen a towel with it one you've blotted the 95% of the water and then use that damp towel to add gloss and safely wipe it. Any trace particals that could scratch the car were likely removed during the blotting phase and IF any remain, the damn rinse towel will protect you. Good stuff. Try the Uber rinseless and mix it up as a detail spray, 3oz to a gal and use that. I can send you some if you want just PM me an addy. I have a gal of it I feel the same way. I never used the above Rinseless product before and when I finally did things "clicked" for me. Meguiar's D114 is like that too. Some swear by it. I'm going to swap some W. Uber for D114 with a local guy so we can each try the others products. $5 says I'll prolly end up with a new purchase after
  20. here's my fallback $20 from amazon. I use this one a lot as the above is nice for when I'm stuck at the mother in laws on a Sunday or when it is really dirty and needs a bit of force behind the spray. http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah133/PDQS4/Misc%20Detailing/Amazon_zpswxzgfcu0.jpg
  21. True on the dynamics; I have no clue on manufacturing costs other than I stand by the fact that all cars are overpriced. It's no where near a comparison to my S4 which stickered just under $60k new let alone the new B9's which inside are pretty freaking nice. Cost wise, I'd buy an RS7 anyday over their AWD offering.
  22. Haven't followed the conversation in detail but just seeing a Volt compared to any Tesla makes me LOL. No comparison IMO. Tesla still > Volt That said, I'd be ready to jump on even a S-Series if the interiors were nicer. The new 3 Series seems pretty cool but hopefully again, the interiors are nicer. I don't want a backward move for the sake of an electric car move.
