anytime you want to compare the size of your lifestyle dick, I'll gladly whip mine out and slap you around a bit. You're right in the lack of giveafucks all around.

You already know I lived there once already and while I loved Toronto I would never subject myself to their healthcare system or taxes and prices again. Been there done this.

I would challenge you to compare what you call rape today to what you will have 3-5 years from now. You don't know rape. What we have today is a system in need of some legal reform and some regulation but what we don't need is more debt and dead weight.

Never said there was a free ride, but it's crystal clear that Obamacare is an expensive ride that involves his big black dick up our asses. Even if Ohio said yes, all exchanges are essencially controlled by Washington. It does nothing but let Obama point to the states for failure when premiums go up and Kasich is not some dumbass who is going to let Obama do that. Good luck to him if he thinks he's just going to simply create a Federally controlled exchange. His own administration has admitted it doesn't have the money and he's going to have a heck of a time getting funding through the GOP controlled House. Not to mention, without state-run exchanges, the fed won't be able to subsidize private insurance companies as he has planned. If enough states say no and so far a fair share have, Obamacare won't work out financially and they will have to take it back to congress. I've not been screwed, I like my plan for the past decade. I most certainly don't want the costs associated with Obamacare. Been there done that in the role I play and comany I work for...... Obama's plan is to put private insurance out of business so he can control it all and put everyone on his new version of medicare. No thanks. It's about carrying the costs on the backs of the middle class and up. No thanks. Obamacare is not in my best interest. I doubt yours either. Not unless you enjoy handing over your money.

The war at home is officially underway. http://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2012/11/13/obamacares-ohio-insurance-exchange.html?ana=lnk I stay thumbs up because it's the beginning of a fight between the feds and the states resisting which will likely open up Obamacare to changes. :fuckyeah: No doubt states that set up exchanges will see higher taxes and fewer jobs. However, the government cannot legally enforce the employer mandate a tax on employers in a state that has not set up an exchange. That means the Fed will have to carry the costs and they aren't at all set up nor was the plan designed for them to do that. If enough states refuse, Obamacare will fail. I say fight because Obama has challenged that he will then have the fed set up their own exchanges and will then try and find a way to obtain the money from "other sources" :finger: The catch is however, IF federal government implements an exchange, and attempts to redistribute the subsidies and force those mandates upon the resisting states - it would be illegal and states could then file suit. Let's go do that as then that will force Congress to reopen the health care law, opening up an opportunity to change the law and this time, Congress is controlled by Republicans. :finger: Fuck you Obama and EAD Biden, we're not going down without a fight and let's hope more states follow this path. The deadline has been extended to mid December and I'm feeling good that the Red states will tell him to fuck off. let the battle begin.

My friend who is an IT recruiter just had a senior cobol position land on her desk. It would be a full time position with a company I know well and is solid and one I can recommend. Is your friend (of a friend) still looking? Let me know and I'll put you in touch.

I think it's an AT&T thing as everyone I know using the iP5 and LTE across the country if in an area where LTE is up is pulling down speeds like that and better. I was just in clearwater and even my 4s was pulling down 8mb. My coworker's LTE was in the 50's. down.

Monica Durban is still trying to pass this street racing bill

I won't disagree. In terms of "they" which seems to be law enforcement, they are cracking down and laws have been changed. If the opinion is texting or DUI penalties aren't severe enough, the good thing about our system is anyone anyone is free to pursue changing the law as is being done by Monica and her family with regards to Street Racing. -

because initial reports show quotes from both George's wife and neighbor. there's really no need to re-hash a thread from 4 yrs ago. just because there wasn't enough evidence or however cases like this are finally closed out (all public record) the underlying reality won't go away and does need addressed. -
did the fuck sticks laughing do something to him?

there's a slight difference between a LEO going 80-85mph while in a cruiser and two kids doing 60-160mph rolls on 270 in 10yr old modified mullet mobiles. bottom line we all know they what was really happening in that situation though. roll back time and I bet George and his family would rather give up his car than give up what he did. -

that's a fact regarding any law or punishment. However, in the case of this law, go ahead and do it, get caught and try doing it again....kinda difficult when your car is gone, you're likely left in the bag dealing with payments still and your driving record sucks, insurance get's jacked up, etc. Taking the cars involved solves 99% of the bullshit and believe me, if it happens to one guy on CR, others will talk a bit game but I bet it shuts down the street racing issues much more than you might think. Again, kinda hard to ignore when you're new ride is a huffy bicycle. -
Is that video a call he had with you or is that just a random one off the internet? If anyone talked to me like that I would burn the entire place down with him in it. Not sure I follow the entire situation here........ Anyway, wife and I rented from Triangle nearly 20 years ago with no problems but again, long time back.

what makes me think that is on this board alone we have countless first hand examples of where there is no fear of said consequences and thus the behaviors continue. again, facts. Look around here weekly and notice the trend in posts and videos put out there. many are still taking risks. take away their cars and threaten them with a much bigger punishment, including your fears of perhaps rogue officers and look how quickly this thread has grown. In 2009 the same topic drew 11 pages. in my world too. I never knew nor cared first hand what would happen with a 95mph in a 55mph ticket until I faced it. True or not, the good that came from it was an eye opening experience for me. However, as you noted, the two of us are still not enough. IMO you don't go after the cops for the behaviors of others. There will never be enough cops on patrol to make a difference. Even on heavily patrolled days, I can still effectively avoid them and have fun. You have to target the behaviors and those doing it. We'll have to agree to disagree. The facts show both here on the board and in every state that the consequences aren't strong enough to deter the behavior. No need to increase patrols or costs to the entire population to fund the manpower needed when you can instead ratchet up the consequences which have much lower costs to the general public. -

IMO She has every right to be pissed and the same for her efforts to toughen up the penalties. Sad to say but he brought about his own death. I don't see vengeance here, I see someone now personally motivated to change a system that want strict enough to curb the behavior that as a result impacted her deeply. Unlike your thoughts of just moving on, Monica and even myself would instead take this life changing occurence and do more with it. Again, she's not working with hate, she's making a change to a law that has proven through her experience is weak and does little in it's current state to curb bad behavior. Let's say the above occurred, if the facts that come out in trial don't support it and in this case, they wouldn't, then you're not going to be found guilty. Thus why evidences and facts are required once you leave the side of the road. ditto. -

because someone is actually getting up and doing something about it. perhaps there needs to be another resurgence in support for tougher DUI laws. he guy on rt 23 that was just hit......wife is killed, baby in serious condition, has my vote for a new life mission
